First let me say that all conservatives I know and read are sincerely devastated at the state of our fellow Americans in New York and New Jersey. This is nothing to be politicized by either party. Unfortunately the left didn't exhibit this restraint during Katrina, accusing President Bush withing days of the aftermath of not caring, not supporting, being a racist because victims were predominately black and being partisan because victims were mostly democrats. It was disgusting then and would be equally disgusting now.

While I do not 'blame' Mr. Obama I have to say his lack of acknowledgement of the perils of his constituents is striking.. and very Bengazi-ish sans the video. The media is also amazingly absent and those TV new shots of devastation and victims being neglected.

My point today is simply this: Liberal Social Policies are great in theory, and make supporters of those policies feel good in a 'save the puppies' kind of way. But they quite frankly do not work. We see disasters in these Liberal bastions such as New Orleans, New York and New Jersey and the confusion and dis-equal implementation of support to the victims. But there was another disaster in New York 9 years ago when the WTC twin towers came down. What was the difference? A true leader who happened to be president at that time, and a true leader who was Mayor of New York. They just so happened to both be Republicans. But what a difference in leadership, response and communication with the public.

For four years we have seen the Democrat controlled congress haphazardly spending taxpayer dollars, Stimulus, Omnibus, QE1, QE2, ObamaCare and Cars for Klunkers(really?!?).

Then the scrutiny of bankers, CEO's and anyone who makes more than $250K/year. Somehow they were all evil and responsible for the terrible disaster of the housing collapse. Can we all remember the famous line used by our president to the Wall street CEO's (after whipping up forces against them) when he said " I am all that is standing between you and the pitchforks" (government issued of course). We watched banks bullied to take money then Barney Frank passed a regulations bill that put most small banks out of business. The Feds basically controlled the banks and so own the economy.

We watched Mr. Obama bail out GM but not before giving into the Unions to secure their unsecured shares of stock in GM, whilst the secured stocks of private investors got screwed and only received pennies on the dollar coming out of bankruptcy. Most of our Stimulus dollars went to shore up public sector pensions that were underfunded at the federal and state levels. What money couldn't be given away there, went to failing solar companies, wind companies and farmers so they would not produce competitive crops. After all farming isn't really a renewable energy is it?

We watched the end result of the tornado of economic policies of the left, including ObamaCare, put small businesses in a position to fail, which many did. They also resulted in large companies not hiring full time employees to get around the mandates of the restrictive government requirements.

Hurricane Sandy is a visual to those of us who have weathered (no pun) these past four years. The optic that it provides us is a reminder that liberals love to attack solid republican policies as 'mean spirited' but when the fan gets pummeled with excrement so to speak, liberal policies are painful to watch in action. Why, because the premise of most liberal policies are to hurt the rich and reward the poor, while telling the middle class they are the most important, simultaneously making them pay for the majority of their plans. They do this through gas taxes, sales taxes, increased fees and penalties. When a true disaster takes place, their policies are feel good on paper but lack logic and order in the clinch. Where is the Mayor of New York going into Long Island and Coney Island, surveying, reporting and problem solving? Where is the President? Oh yeah..Campaigning.

Let me give you one very simple example. While homes were destroyed and bodies lay strewn, the Mayor of New York promoted the New York Marathon, requiring each participant to donate $26 for solidarity. That was suppose to placate the masses. On top of that they planned a huge concert in Central park. They were still okay until a photo of two huge generators were taken in West Manhattan, which could power over 400 homes. That did it. Pressure rose up and the Mayor folded. Remember Rohm Emmanuel who said 'Never Let a Crisis Go To Waste'. They would have held that concert and the musicians would have promoted Obama and killed Romney. It was almost too fortunate. A DISASTER YAY! Ooops somebody was watching. Exit stage left.

At the risk of repeating myself, this is painful to watch as an American and disgusting because no one really seems to care about anything except getting Mr. Obama a nice photo op to help his campaign. the MSM is playing into this "President Obama met with Chris Christie today and looked VERY Presidential". What? He is the President. What did he look like yesterday? Disgusting.

All I can say is I hope Americans will vote for the good of our country on Tuesday and not for a political/party victory.

Political comedian and Obama apologist Bill Mahr said the most telling thing in his HBO show yesterday. "If you are thinking of voting for Romney let me implore you, Black people know who you are and WILL come after you." It was suppose to be a joke? Sounds like a threat to me. Oh and thanks for giving my neighbors the bright idea.

I think we can see that there is a lot of trepidation about this election from the left and their true colors are showing through. At another time I will vent about how the left can say anything they want to without repercussion.

I heard someone say this week on Fox News, "I think it's time for us to start looking at a one 6 year term for president and be done with it". At this point I am inclined to agree.

What do you think?Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-10124720917877263982012-09-27T07:50:00.001-07:002012-09-27T07:50:44.855-07:00Unskewedpolls.com I am sure, if you are like me, you are scratching your head at the recent polling data being presented on the evening news casts. The polls show President Obama running away with this election. If you do any investigation you will start to see the methods used by these polling companies are heavily weighted (D+17) toward Democrats. I wondered what would happen if someone just polled based on the current breakdown of Republicans, Democrats and Independents?

Then I came up on unskewedpolls.com. Check out the real numbers:
QStarNews Quick Poll
Romney/Ryan 55%
Obama/Biden 44%
The QStarNews Quick Poll is the first trial run preceding the upcoming QStarNews poll on the presidential race and current events. This election season has seen so many polls heavily skewed and poorly weighted, that show skewed and inaccurate results.
The purpose of this poll is to present the most accurate results possible based on the latest of what is known about the electorate and voter behavior and other statistical information available.
The QStarNews poll works with the premise that the partisan makeup of the electorate 37.6 percent Republicans, 33.3 percent Democrats and 29.1 percent independent voters.
Additionally, our model is based on the electoral including approximately 41.6 percent self-described conservatives, 32.6 percent self-described moderates and 25.8 percent self-described liberals.
Republicans are 68 percent conservative, 27 percent moderate and 5 percent liberal. Among Democrats, 14 percent are conservative, 36 percent are moderate and 50 percent are liberal. Independents include 39 percent conservatives, 36 percent moderates and 25 percent liberals.
Our polls about doubly-weighted, to doubly insure the results are most accurate and not skewed, by both party identification and self-identified ideology. For instance, no matter how many Republicans answer our survey, they are weighted at 37.6 percent. If conservatives are over-represented among Republicans in the raw sample, they are still weighted at 68 percent of Republicans regardless. This system of double weighting should insure our survey produces very accurate results, not skewed either way for the Democrats or for the Republicans.
Results: The QStarNews Quick Poll
We asked eight questions in this survey.
The web-based survey included 2075 responses surveyed between September 10-15. The poll has a margin of error of three percent.
If the election were held today, would you vote for the ticket of Democratic candidates, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Bicden, or the ticket of Republican candidates, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan?

Romney/Ryan 55%
Obama/Biden 44%

I was watching a baseball game the other night on TV and the home team was playing really bad. They hit in to numerous double plays and their pitching wasn't holding the other team back very well. The home team was losing. Long about the 6th inning I noticed that the crowd was pretty quiet as they hadn't had anything to cheer about in awhile. Then I heard those familiar organ riff's designed to invoke a verbal-shout-type of a response. After that it was the wave and antics from the mascot. It seemed to me that they were trying to do everything to distract the fans away from the fact that their team was losing.

So I started thinking about the recent Republican National Convention and how stations like ABC and NBC were desperately trying to distort the republican message that came to the viewer so clearly. They began making ridiculous statements and claims that had me jumping up and down and I realized at that moment I had been distracted away from the message of the RNC as well as the failed record of the current president.

Watching MSNBC after the debate (I like to surf the cable news nets to get a 'feel') I was immediately assaulted by ranting and raving hosts quadruple-ganging up on a convention delegate about something Paul Ryan had said in his speech. It was like a feeding frenzy. These guys were so full of fervor and gusto (I'll have what she's having) that I suddenly felt my political-news-libido might need a supplement.

Back to baseball-
I think it is clear that the home team (Obama) is not performing very well in this political season. Their offense is dismal, Joe Biden is their best hitter right now and their pitching isn't fooling anybody. While the visiting team (Romney/Ryan) seems to be hitting on all cylinders. Even without the help of the biased umpires (network and cable news) making all judgement calls for the Obama team while the Romney team can't seem to get a break. But you just can't get away with calling a home run an out!

And all the while the home team stadium activity coordinators (News pundits of the left) are blowing up beach balls and pushing them into the crowd as quickly as possible, playing Pavlovic organ riffs with great zeal and periodically changing the score to make the fans think their team isn't really doing that bad.

As a fan, you may get distracted for a moment but in the back of your mind you never forget that your team is losing. At some point (8th inning) when you only have a half dozen outs to go, the fan, no matter how much fun they are having personally, sort of resigns to the fact that 'their team is probably not going to win'.

That time is coming soon. But it's still the top of the 7th, Romney's team has bases loaded and no outs and seems hungry for more. These are the scenarios where a well placed single can score two runs and most fans are expecting at least one single (Ok if we can get out of this inning only giving up 2 runs that would be good).

Back to Politics-
Romney and Ryan seem to have energy and virtue going forward. They communicated clear enticing intentions which now have a majority listening in for the details and they look like they could be champs if they just keep performing. It's theirs to lose.

But, Obama and Biden are coming up with the middle of their lineup (3,4 and 5 hitters) and the fans desperately cheering for them to do something at the plate. (sorry I just can't get away from the analogy). The bottom of the 7th is coming up next week at the Democratic National Convention and we are all going to see one of two things:
1) They get some runners in scoring position and drive home a few runs with 2 full innings to go (hope)
2) They go down in order (even though the umpires will continue to say they scored when they didn't)

As for me, I like to sit back and enjoy the slow pace of the game because it reminds me of America..

No Matter What The Score Is, Any Player Can Hit A Home Run At Anytime And Change the Momentum Of The Game.
Our Federal Government has been flashing their badges and throwing their weight around to infringe on every aspect of our lives these past 3+ years but stated authority only goes so far and eventually people will say 'enough'.

I read a story today about a Christian group in Phoenix AZ that was passing out cold water in 112 degree weather at a festival, and using that opportunity to talk to people about their belief in eternity and God. A local city official instructed the group that they could not pass out waters because they did not have a permit to do so. They were told they would be cited if they continued this activity.

Really? It's against the law in Phoenix AZ to pass out cold water to other people in 112 degree weather? This is what happens when Liberals run a city. If there are generations of liberal leaders you end up with Detroit or Chicago with rampant violence, Corruption at the highest levels, unfettered drug activity and economic ruin.

In this re-election bid for incumbent president Obama's future, many have called into question the media bias on the networks and cables reporting of both campaigns. On the left, they hold that network and cable outlets such as ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN are simply telling both sides of the story accurately without bias. While we can document and debate this issue long beyond the election cycle, I started thinking about an analogy which might help punctuate my point that there is a systemic bias in our journalism that is institutional as opposed to individual.

Imagine a debate between two candidates, a conservative and a liberal (they prefer progressive). Imagine a room full of interested open minded voters who want to hear what each candidate has to say in order to help them arrive at an informed decision on who they should vote for. Now imagine that the moderator has a large Mega-phone, as does the progressive candidate. However, the conservative candidate has a Mega-phone in which the batteries have been removed so there is no amplification.

Moderator to Progressive: Tell us sir, despite your opponents repeated attempts to kill our senior citizens with his policies, how is it you have managed to accomplish so much good during your career of compassion and generosity toward those same seasoned citizens?

Progressive: Yes, well I have to watch my back every day because I know my opponent supports killing abortion doctors and plots daily how to throw 'granny over the cliff'. I have to swim against the stream of hateful poisonous conservative vitriol each time I scratch and claw my way to social justice for the underprivileged and disenfranchised in our society. My opponent is basically a scumbag.

Moderator to Conservative: The word is out that you are a scumbag. Why should voters work so hard to overcome such extreme bias toward you, to seek the truth of what you stand for, instead of conveniently believing the caricature of how you are defined by us daily ?

Conservative: (speaking but not heard)

Moderator: (to the audience) We apologize for the speakers inability to articulate clearly to you on this issue so we will sum up his position. What he is saying is that he wants to end Medi-Care as we know it, put our old people on a risky voucher system that provides no security net and gut Medi-Care through savings and send that money in the form of a cashier's check to everyone who has an income of greater than one million dollars.

As silly as this analogy is, consider this next time you watch any news network cover both sides of a story:
1. Does the news person presenting the story repeat the liberals statements word for word unconditionally while ignoring a conservatives statements and facts provided, jumping to a conclusion which can only be found on an extreme left liberal blog's talking points?
2. When presented with indisputable facts on a conservative issue does the news person rationalize coming to a completely opposite conclusion while mumbling Sarah Palin expletives under their breath?

In essence, if a news outlet repeats liberals, while having to re-characterize any conservative statement, even using debunked information to slander the person, their motives and their message..that is called bias.

The good news is that Paul Ryan is bringing a Mega-Phone to conservatives voices and issues and this is causing great consternation on the left. They are now having to defend their inane statements and positions with 'amplified' opposition.

I enjoyed immensely watching Bob Beckel trying to defend the liberals statement on the Ryan plan that he is gutting Medi-Care because he is 'slowing growth' over the next 10 years VS. Obama actually taking $716 Billion dollars from Medi-Care to help fund Obamacare.

Remember in the 1990's when Newt wanted to balance the budget and he slowed the 'growth' of the budget affecting the school lunch program? The left effectively defined Newt as the 'Gingrinch who stole Christmas' and the batteries were pulled from our Mega-Phone. It was a blood bath. They are trying this again with Paul Ryan but Conservatives have a voice on TV, a voice on Radio, the TeaParty and free speech over the internet, which has blown the lid off of the 'Polyester Curtain' that liberals created and have enjoyed effectively until 1998 since the Fox News debut. It has taken more than a decade but truth is finally getting through to the common person. Occasionally, networks desperate for improved ratings, actually report the truth and it is a beautiful thing, but it's always too good to be true as the next segment is filled with inaccurate bias against conservatives.

Every network reported extensively on the Chick-Fil-A story and did so for a week or more. Some even covered the 'appreciation day' with a video clip and a short story. Impressive. However on the eve before the protest 'Kiss In', hateful graffiti occurred at three Chick-Fil-A locations and the networks consciously refused to report it. This is most definitely BIAS.

When my kids were young we would sit around the table for dinner and have silly and lively discussions. My wife, my two oldest boys and myself were talking incessantly over one another, laughing and even shouting at times, all in fun. My youngest son rarely talked in general but especially at the dinner table where even if he wanted to he couldn't get a word in edge-wise. One night, during one such meal, my youngest raised his hand and started yelling, 'I have a word, I have a word, I have a WORD!' He was rewarded with our undivided attention.

As disappointed as so many conservatives are with a Mitt Romney candidacy, with the addition of Tea Party favorite Paul Ryan I am hearing a new tone and a mantra.. "I Have A Word!"Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-50869873532825224822012-08-07T20:29:00.001-07:002012-08-07T20:29:12.455-07:00OBAMA’S COLLEGE CLASSMATE: ‘THE OBAMA SCANDAL IS AT COLUMBIA’
I am President Obama’s classmate at Columbia University, Class of ’83. I am also one of the most accurate Las Vegas oddsmakers and prognosticators. Accurate enough that I was awarded my own star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars. And I smell something rotten in Denmark. Obama has a big skeleton in his closet. It’s his college records. Call it “gut instinct” but my gut is almost always right. Obama has a secret hidden at Columbia- and it’s a bad one that threatens to bring down his presidency. Gut instinct is how I’ve made my living for 29 years since graduating Columbia.

Obama and his infamous strategist David Axelrod understand how to play political hardball, the best it’s ever been played. Team Obama has decided to distract America’s voters by condemning Mitt Romney for not releasing enough years of his tax returns. It’s the perfect cover. Obama knows the best defense is a bold offense. Just keep attacking Mitt and blaming him for secrecy and evasion, while accusing him of having a scandal that doesn’t exist. Then ask followers like Senator Harry Reid to chase the lead. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader appears to now be making up stories out of thin air, about tax returns he knows nothing about. It’s a cynical, brilliant, and vicious strategy. Make Romney defend, so he can’t attack the real Obama scandal.

This is classic Axelrod. Obama has won several elections in his career by slandering his opponents and leaking sealed documents. Not only do these insinuations and leaks ruin the credibility and reputation of Obama’s opponents, they keep them on the defensive and off Obama’s trail of sealed documents.

By attacking Romney’s tax records, Obama’s socialist cabal creates a problem that doesn't exist. Is the U.S. Senate Majority Leader making up stories out of thin air? You decide. But the reason for this baseless attack is clear- make Romney defend, so not only is he “off message” but it helps the media ignore the real Obama scandal.

My answer for Romney? Call Obama’s bluff.

Romney should call a press conference and issue a challenge in front of the nation. He should agree to release more of his tax returns, only if Obama unseals his college records. Simple and straight-forward. Mitt should ask “What could possibly be so embarrassing in your college records from 29 years ago that you are afraid to let America’s voters see? If it’s THAT bad, maybe it’s something the voters ought to see.” Suddenly the tables are turned. Now Obama is on the defensive.

My bet is that Obama will never unseal his records because they contain information that could destroy his chances for re-election. Once this challenge is made public, my prediction is you’ll never hear about Mitt’s tax returns ever again.

Why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.

If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia have ever met him, saw him, or heard of him.

But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.

Now all of this mystery could be easily and instantly dismissed if Obama released his Columbia transcripts to the media. But even after serving as President for 3 1/2 years he refuses to unseal his college records. Shouldn’t the media be as relentless in pursuit of Obama’s records as Romney’s? Shouldn’t they be digging into Obama’s past–beyond what he has written about himself–with the same boundless enthusiasm as Mitt’s?

The first question I’d ask is, if you had great grades, why would you seal your records? So let’s assume Obama got poor grades. Why not release the records? He’s president of the free world, for gosh sakes. He’s commander-in-chief of the U.S. military. Who’d care about some poor grades from three decades ago, right? So then what’s the problem? Doesn’t that make the media suspicious? Something doesn’t add up.

Secondly, if he had poor grades at Occidental, how did he get admitted to an Ivy League university in the first place? And if his grades at Columbia were awful, how’d he ever get into Harvard Law School? So again those grades must have been great, right? So why spend millions to keep them sealed?

Third, how did Obama pay for all these fancy schools without coming from a wealthy background? If he had student loans or scholarships, would he not have to maintain good grades?

I can only think of one answer that would explain this mystery.

Here’s my gut belief: Obama got a leg up by being admitted to both Occidental and Columbia as a foreign exchange student. He was raised as a young boy in Indonesia. But did his mother ever change him back to a U.S. citizen? When he returned to live with his grandparents in Hawaii or as he neared college-age preparing to apply to schools, did he ever change his citizenship back? I’m betting not.

If you could unseal Obama’s Columbia University records I believe you’d find that:

A) He rarely ever attended class.

B) His grades were not those typical of what we understand it takes to get into Harvard Law School.

C) He attended Columbia as a foreign exchange student.

D) He paid little for either undergraduate college or Harvard Law School because of foreign aid and scholarships given to a poor foreign students like this kid Barry Soetoro from Indonesia.

If you think I’m “fishing” then prove me wrong. Open up your records Mr. President. What are you afraid of?

If it’s okay for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to go on a fishing expedition about Romney’s taxes (even though he knows absolutely nothing about them nor will release his own), then I think I can do the same thing. But as Obama’s Columbia Class of ’83 classmate, at least I have more standing to make educated guesses.

President Barack Obama is attempting to convince all of us that everything is just fine and that the economy is heading in a positive direction. Well, the truth is that everything is not fine and things are about to get a whole lot worse. Our economy has been in decline for quite a while now, and soon we are going to smash directly into an economic brick wall. Unfortunately, a lot of Americans are in denial about this. A lot of people out there doubt that an economic collapse is coming. Well, if you know someone that believes that the U.S. economy is going to be “just fine”, just show them the list below.

$3.59 - When Barack Obama entered the White House, the average price of a gallon of gasoline was $1.85. Today, it is$3.59.

- It is hard to believe, but today the poverty rate for children living in the United States is a whopping 22 percent.

- According to U.S. Representative Betty Sutton, an average of 23 manufacturing facilities permanently shut down in the United States every single day during 2010.

- Back in 2007, about 10 percent of all unemployed Americans had been out of work for 52 weeks or longer. Today, that number is above 30 percent.

- The amount of money that the federal government gives directly to Americans has increased by 32 percent since Barack Obama entered the White House.

- U.S. housing prices are now down a total of 35 percent from the peak of the housing bubble.

- According to one survey, 42 percent of all American workers are currently living paycheck to paycheck.

- Shockingly, at this point 48 percent of all Americans are either considered to be “low income” or are living in poverty.

- Last year, an astounding 53 percent of all U.S. college graduates under the age of 25 were either unemployed or underemployed.

- According to a recent Gallup poll, only 60 percent of all Americans say that they have enough money to live comfortably.

We have been through tough times before as a nation so there is always hope. But this current administration has blatantly pontificated its self proclaimed superiority whilst their policies are wreaking havoc on the every day lives of its citizens. Short of an election fraud coup by democrats, there is no way a majority of Americans will re-elect this disaster of a president.

Liberal News Media (DNC Outlets) continues to suffer losses in advertising revenue and viewership, while they continue to display unprecedented arrogance in telling viewers what they think they need to know instead of reporting what viewers want to know.

Big brother is increasing their scope in our every realm from telling us what we can and cannot eat, where we can eat it and how much we can buy in one setting. TSA is now going to be doing random inspections at train stations, subways and bus stations. There have been several occurring incidents of the TSA actually setting up road side inspections where they are pulling over drivers and patting them down.

Are we really going to allow this country to go the way of European socialist and communist regimes? If we don't have a change in leadership it will only be a matter of time before you are stopped at every state and county line to be asked " Papers Please". Are we really prepared to be asked on our way from San Bernardino County to Los Angeles County, "What is your business in Los Angeles County?, Have you every voted Republican? Do you support the opinions of Sarah Palin?"

Mitt Romney may not be the perfect choice for conservatives for President of the United States, but he will repeal Obamacare, lower taxes on business, reform the welfare system and stop the unions from stealing taxpayers money to support their liberal agenda.

You must vote in November, and you must help put an end to this lab experiment gone awry called Barack Obama!

Efforts to reach Clark for comment yesterday were unsuccessful. It is unclear whether he has an EBT card assigned to him. You just have to take money away from the rich (the middle class actually) and give it to the poor. Then the poor idolize you and pledge their eternal loyalty to you and your ideals.

It's romantically reminiscent of Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men but it is a fairy tale and a farce.

If Republicans and Conservatives are 'Idealists' then certainly the Democrats and Liberals are 'Opportunists'.

Back in the days of Jim Crow, Democrats formed the Ku Klux Klan in order to intimidate other white people who might be sympathetic to the plight of black slavery. But today you wouldn't know the Democrats had anything to do with it.

In the 1960's Democrats fought tooth and nail against the Civil Rights bill that would give equal share in society to people of all colors. It was republicans that put that legislation into law. But if you watch the news today you would swear all those white conservatives had grown up with 6 generations of hatred for blacks, Mexicans and any other non-white race.

My point is that Liberals will use any tactic to their advantage and switch around on those tactics so as to blame their consequences on others. You might say "Wow, does that make them smarter than conservatives?" No, it makes them Amoral. When you do not allow any set of principals to ground your behavior, when you have no moral guidelines then you become an opportunist. In a world that is governed by standards for behavior and civility, if you choose to disregard them, you can achieve your goals more quickly at the expense of others. But I digress...

Liberals have the idea that if you take away money from some to give to the poor then you will solidify your base of poor voters and that will in turn provide a cushion for your political advantage. Here is the problem with this thinking.

When a person does not work for what they have, it is human nature to devalue it. When people received free things, money, food, favor; they tend to become 'ungrateful' and greedy. To imply to these folks that they must now go out and vote for a democrat as 'payback' for their goods, also implies that they must 'do something' to maintain their freeloading status. People receiving free things very quickly become accustomed to not having to do anything for it. It works this way with our kids as well. When they screw up and we pay for their mistakes constantly they become unproductive employees, citizens and people in general. This effect does not apply only to the poor, it applies to humanity. Conversely when a person earns and works for what they have, their judgement becomes sound, and their value system becomes more balanced.

In this regard, we can go back to the old adage that 'Money doesn't buy happiness' and it has never been more true than what we see in the lowest ranks of welfare recipients. Ronald Reagan was such a successful president because he brought hope and self-respect to people on the dole. Reagan told them that they mattered, that they deserved the right to earn the american dream, and that they were good enough to do it. Reagan said to all Americans simply "I believe you can do it, I believe in American exceptional ism".

Democrats are saying that with 50% of Americans on welfare and government payrolls it's a shoe in that we will re-elect Obama. But they are scared. It reminds me of the scene in Princess Bride when Buttercup and Humperdink are at the alter and there is a big ruckus outside, so the prince tells the priest to 'hurry up and skip to the end'. Buttercup says to the Prince "My Wesley is coming for me" to which the Prince touts "Your Wesley is dead, I killed him myself earlier today". To which Buttercup says simply "Then why is there fear in your eyes?"

Democrats will stand like Baghdad Bob proclaiming their unquestionable victory in the 2012 elections but I wonder... Why is there fear in their eyes?Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-39655094259441116902011-12-12T11:22:00.000-08:002011-12-12T11:22:02.819-08:00Most Bizarre SuicideAt the 1994 annual awards dinner given by the American Association for Forensic Sciences, AAFS President Don Harper Mills astounded his audience in San Diego with the legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story...

On March 23 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a gunshot wound of the head caused by a shotgun. Investigation to that point had revealed that the decedent had jumped from the top of a ten story building with the intent to commit suicide. (He left a note indicating his despondency.) As he passed the 9th floor on the way down, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast through a window, killing him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the decedent was aware that a safety net had been erected at the 8th floor level to protect some window washers, and that the decedent would not have been able to complete his intent to commit suicide because of this...

Ordinarily a person who starts into motion the events with a suicide intent ultimately commits suicide even though the mechanism might be not what he intended. That he was shot on the way to certain death nine stories below probably would not change his mode of death from suicide to homicide, but the fact that his suicide intent would not have been achieved under any circumstance caused the medical examiner to feel that he had homicide on his hands...

Further investigation led to the discovery that the room on the 9th floor from whence the shotgun blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. He was threatening her with the shotgun because of an interspousal spat and became so upset that he could not hold the shotgun straight. Therefore, when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking the decedent.

When one intends to kill subject A, but kills subject B in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B. The old man was confronted with this conclusion, but both he and his wife were adamant in stating that neither knew that the shotgun was loaded. It was the longtime habit of the old man to threaten his wife with an unloaded shotgun. He had no intent to murder her; therefore, the killing of the decedent appeared then to be accident. That is, the gun had been accidentally loaded...

But further investigation turned up a witness that their son was seen loading the shotgun approximately six weeks prior to the fatal accident. That investigation showed that the mother (the old lady) had cut off her son's financial support, and her son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that the father would shoot his mother. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus...

Further investigation revealed that the son became increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to get his mother murdered. This led him to jump off the ten story building on March 23, only to be killed by a shotgun blast through a 9th story window.

The medical examiner closed the case as a suicide.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-14369881543246373092011-12-07T08:10:00.000-08:002011-12-07T08:12:10.365-08:00Will We Ever Elect A Conservative President Again?!In the news today is the uprising of violence in Russia over the perceived vote rigging that gave Vladimir Putin's political party a narrow majority victory. With reports of 1st hand accounts of voting fraud Mikhail Gorbachev, 80 year old former president of Russia, said they need to nullify the elections or face the growing unrest and violence.

http://news.yahoo.com/mikhail-gorbachev-calls-vote-russia-120940655.html

Hmmm.. we have occupy wall street, the darlings of the media now, who could stage an 'unrest' after an Obama landslide defeat, and can you see President Clinton saying "we need to nullify the election or face the rising unrest"? I sure can.

With this type of pressure to squelch the will of the people will we ever see a conservative candidate elected to the Presidency in our country again!?

The problem with Russia is they decided to dole out freedom like debit cards. Once you have used up all your freedom you have no more freedom to use. That didn't work so well because in the infamous words of Jeff Goldblum in Jarrasic Park "Life will find a way". So too will freedom find a way. Russia is about to experience a revolution because a generation has tasted freedom.

If the people's will is countermanded one more time in the United States I fear the outcome. The citizens of the United States have the right to bear arms but for the stated purpose of defending themselves against a tyrannical government! Nobody ever quotes the full amendment. The Liberals are always characterizing the tea party and conservatives as dangerous gun toting radicals. Maybe one reason for that is we have that right in the face of an oppressive government. They should be very afraid if they continue down this European style socialist road we are on. I don't know if you heard but Gun Sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday were up over previous years by 33%! Unfortunately, people are preparing for the worst.

We are a nation of Laws but isn't it interesting that our nation gained it's freedom by disobeying the law to pay an unreasonable tax on tea? You can only push free people so far with laws before you pay the ultimate price by the uprising of citizens that say 'enough is enough'.

What do you think? Can we politically oust the socialist element from our government and begin getting back to our conservative roots or is it going to take an uprising like hasn't been seen since 1776? I am hoping for the former..Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-87147943712384422802011-12-02T16:31:00.000-08:002011-12-02T16:31:15.175-08:00ObamonopolyHey Mom and Dad, having trouble deciding what to get Junior for Christmas? Well straight from the treasury department and Barack productions comes the board game your whole family will just love! It Obamonopoly. Now instead of lasting hours, Obamonopoly will last days. This educational board game still has Boardwalk and Park Place but now in order to own them you must pay each of the other players $200 with every roll of the dice because we want to teach your kids that the rich must pay their fair share.

Mortgaged your properties, out of cash? No the game isn't over, far from it! Now 'the bank' will refinance or even forgive your debt and give you your property back (paid for by the owners of Park Place and Boardwalk.) Are you stuck with Baltic place? Now each time a player lands on your property you get to charge them another rich tax to help subsidize your unfortunate position in life. Don't feel like rolling? Too much work? It's now okay to use your 'get into jail free' card. All your debts are cancelled and you don't have any responsibility..except to COLLECT $200 each time someone else passes GO! Tired of the unfair roll of the dice? Now you can occupy the Bank and get everything free for 30 turns straight. Yes with Obamonopoly the game won't ever end. You can borrow and unlimited amount of money. What your money ran out? No problem, just print your own using the singly ply roll of toilet paper that is now supplied with the game! Borrow trillions of dollars and the best part is that the other players have to pay higher taxes the more money you borrow!

Land on the Railroads! If you are not in the Union you now must forfeit 30% of your total cash on hand in order to continue to pay for unsustainable pensions given to the railroad workers. Yes your children will learn some valuable lessons this year when they play Obamonopoly!

Sneak Peek for next Christmas:
Don't miss our coming attraction the Game of LIFE. Now you don't need a career, don't need to get married, just play as a girl, have babies and all the male players will fund your trip from point A to Point B. It doesn't matter if they know you or not, we will soak em for everything they've got..

Merry Christmas from Barack and MichelleUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-76175166098447444002011-11-28T11:45:00.000-08:002011-11-28T11:45:02.933-08:00Obama: No Working Whites! It's all out in the open now. Obama's 2012 strategy is forming and his re-election strategy is focused. Obama will now reach out to the 'occupy' crowd for votes as he seeks a shameless attempt to expand welfare with no boundaries. Mr. Obama has decided that trying to run America according to conventional common sense, free market and constitutional elements is just not good enough for the current Democrat party. The problem is that many Democrats are backing away from the President as he draws his line in the sand. Not to mention, that his policies are unpopular with most of America and over 50% of Democrats.

From my perspective, any liberal that wanted a sustainable welfare state would do what is necessary to improve the economy, make sure most of us have jobs, maintain healthy housing prices, and assure gas prices are under $3 a gallon. Once this exists he can then brow beat the corporations to pay for his welfare programs and even hit up the middle class for a bit of taxation, and he wouldn't get too much guff for it.

But his current approach to try and get half the country on welfare and food stamps while the dollar plummets, unemployment is hopelessly stalled at 10%, debt rises and inflation is knocking on the door.. doesn't make any sense to anyone.

And now it all comes together with Obama (the first post racial president?) who is now in high gear with class warfare and white hate speech. This is a helluva thing to be observing and I can only hope it is a last resort and not some element of a brilliant scheme to destroy America once and for all. While the media sits by and cheers his every move, the people of this once great nation are voting anything but Democrat in their minds and polls are reflecting the same.

Can this trend be turned around in one year? This is a risky strategy, in that, if the Democrats fail to manipulate this current situation to their advantage, with their media influence at an all time low, they may not see a majority in congress for several decades. People are not fooled by the accusation of a 'do nothing congress' being responsible for our current plight. News is too easy to find on the internet for the inquiring minds of voters. No matter how many times Obama says 'it's Bushes fault' the truth is forming clearly in the minds of most Americans as well as other nations looking in.. Our mess is ALL Obama's fault.

So in 2012 we will have one of two outcomes:

1. Obama wins the election and America trends into an irreversible direction of socialism that will spawn questions from children decades from now "Grampa tell us again about when America was a free nation"

2. People overwhelmingly defeat liberalism in it's current form, Liberals are vilified for two decades and conservatives have 4-6 election cycles to put humpty dumpty back together again.

We have faced national crisis cycle in our nation about every 20-30 years and we can defeat liberalism this time as well. The people of America have shown one thing over 2 centuries and that is we are willing to fight and die for our freedom. Liberals have mistakenly believed that people in this country value government handouts more than they value freedom but they are about to learn a valuable and an historic lesson.

Just my humble opinion.

Emanuel Cordell Kennedy, 37, was collared after his mother told cops that she was hit in the back with the thrown ham as she was walking down the hall, according to a Union City Police Department report excerpted here.

In an interview with police, Kennedy claimed that he did not intend to hit his mother, 55-year-old Brenda King, with the tossed ham. King apparently was not injured by the pink missile, the size of which was not detailed by investigators.

Kennedy, pictured in the above mug shot, is being held without bond in the Obion County jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon on the misdemeanor count.
Nothing like being with family for the holidays? Anyway I hope you all have made great plans to relax with friends and family. I will be missing and thinking of my two Sons Trevor (Japan) and Joshua (USS DEWEY DDG-105) as they will be without their family.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053835291380840858.post-26212828082543076132011-11-08T07:37:00.000-08:002011-11-08T07:37:32.882-08:00It doesn't work that wayAs a conservative thinker, I can be persuaded by logical, factual debate. The liberals have figured out that conservatives follow a code of ethics in their lives and have found ways to dupe us with faux arguments that sound logical and factual. But if you look at their positions on the whole there is no consistency. Consistency is another conservative value. In other words you are the same person at work as you are at home, as you are...

Recently Debbie Wasserman Schultz (DNC Chair) stated "Saying Life Begins at Conception Is ‘Extreme and Radical’" Of course she offers no proof to back this up, but here is the funny thing speaking of consistency. When looking for life, or proof of life on other planets, (i.e. Mars, the moon) they speculate the past existence of water and microbes as 'proof of life' but a much more complex organism (a sperm impregnated egg) is extreme and radical to be considered life?!

Again, the ACLU has crafted case law to make it no crime to perform a late term abortion (some with the baby partially out of the womb and is killed before it is completely delivered) but if you shoot a women 6 weeks pregnant you have committed double homicide?!

In a day and age where 'hypocritical' behavior can disqualify public figures both political and religious, it amazes me that our main stream news sources have no problem with blatant hypocrisy.

When Sharon Bailek accused Herman Cain, this week, of sexual misconduct 14 years ago, without proof, the media reports this as fact, with no background on the accuser. But when Bill Clinton had sexual misconduct charges publicly exposed, the same media did a 'Sarah Palin' level background check and reported only on damaging character traits of the accusers. Their goal was clearly to destroy the accusers and minimize the damage against Bill Clinton.

Liberals are using the exact same template to attack Cain as they did with Supreme Court Justice Nominee Clarence Thomas, using Anita Hill to make more unsubstantiated accusations against him. Their playbook is predictable: Truthful or not, the seriousness of the accusations will damage reputations. This is morally degenerate and a disgusting business as usual default position.

Liberal arguments are rife with nonfactual, unsubstantiated and politically motivated bumper sticker phrases and accusations against conservatives. They default to name calling in any intellectual confrontation and continually characterize their opponents as extreme.

As their viewer/readership ratings are plummeting, their rhetoric seems to increase and even when caught lying purposely to viewers to influence them against republicans, they are shameless to defend their non-existent integrity.

The disdain for the morally bankrupt nature of liberals, their agenda, and their media is the impetus for the Tea Party Movement. More people are conservative in nature than are radically liberal. We are done having a minority position shoved down our throats and our freedoms compromised or taken away altogether.
In 2012 you will see the conservative motivation burst forth like a storm of the century when liberals are soundly defeated and the restoration process begins. We will 'occupy' America once again with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!
That's right WORDS. The vocabulary of each side is so distinctly different from the other that we are having a difficult time communicating our actual intended thoughts. Being the moderator that I am, here is a guideline to help all of those on the left and right understand one another.

TransLiberAtor

What the Left Says
1. Tea Baggers
2. Congress need to pass..
3. I will create 1.2 million jobs
4. Right wing radical extremists
5. Maybe my Jobs bill was to big for Republicans to understand
6. We don't like the 9-9-9 plan
7. We want the rich to pay their fair share
8. We will make America Great Again
9. There was a Tea Party Rally with 5,000 in attendance
10. The Occupy protest had strong numbers
11. Tea Partiers are using strong language and have violent tendancies
12. Occupy protesters are passionate about their cause

What the Left Means
1. We Hate We Hate We Hate the Tea Party
2. Republicans need to abandon their principals
3. I will take more tax money to give to unions
4. War hero's who risked their lives for freedom
5. It's 10lbs of Manure in a 5lb bag
6. Damn thing might just work
7. And buy rich we mean anyone with a disposable income
8. Remember the days before the revolutionary war..ahhh the good ole days
9. WTF how did 100,000 people just show up at this thing?!
10. Even with our reporters joining in we could only muster 75 people
11. They are speaking the truth and are going to vote in the next election
12. They are raping women and crapping on Police cars

Ronald Reagan told the story of a republican politician who came to a democratic state to give a stump speech. He could only find one farmer to listen to him. He asked the farmer for something to stand on to deliver his speech. The farmer pointed to a mound of horse manure so he climbed up and started to pontificate. Afterwords the farmer said, "that was pretty good, it was the first time I have ever liked a republican speech." the politician said "thanks, it was the first time I have ever delivered a republican message from a democratic platform."

David W.
