On Paper it looks great. You just have to take money away from the rich (the middle class actually) and give it to the poor. Then the poor idolize you and pledge their eternal loyalty to you and your ideals.

It's romantically reminiscent of Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men but it is a fairy tale and a farce.

If Republicans and Conservatives are 'Idealists' then certainly the Democrats and Liberals are 'Opportunists'.

Back in the days of Jim Crow, Democrats formed the Ku Klux Klan in order to intimidate other white people who might be sympathetic to the plight of black slavery. But today you wouldn't know the Democrats had anything to do with it.

In the 1960's Democrats fought tooth and nail against the Civil Rights bill that would give equal share in society to people of all colors. It was republicans that put that legislation into law. But if you watch the news today you would swear all those white conservatives had grown up with 6 generations of hatred for blacks, Mexicans and any other non-white race.

My point is that Liberals will use any tactic to their advantage and switch around on those tactics so as to blame their consequences on others. You might say "Wow, does that make them smarter than conservatives?" No, it makes them Amoral. When you do not allow any set of principals to ground your behavior, when you have no moral guidelines then you become an opportunist. In a world that is governed by standards for behavior and civility, if you choose to disregard them, you can achieve your goals more quickly at the expense of others. But I digress...

Liberals have the idea that if you take away money from some to give to the poor then you will solidify your base of poor voters and that will in turn provide a cushion for your political advantage. Here is the problem with this thinking.

When a person does not work for what they have, it is human nature to devalue it. When people received free things, money, food, favor; they tend to become 'ungrateful' and greedy. To imply to these folks that they must now go out and vote for a democrat as 'payback' for their goods, also implies that they must 'do something' to maintain their freeloading status. People receiving free things very quickly become accustomed to not having to do anything for it. It works this way with our kids as well. When they screw up and we pay for their mistakes constantly they become unproductive employees, citizens and people in general. This effect does not apply only to the poor, it applies to humanity. Conversely when a person earns and works for what they have, their judgement becomes sound, and their value system becomes more balanced.

In this regard, we can go back to the old adage that 'Money doesn't buy happiness' and it has never been more true than what we see in the lowest ranks of welfare recipients. Ronald Reagan was such a successful president because he brought hope and self-respect to people on the dole. Reagan told them that they mattered, that they deserved the right to earn the american dream, and that they were good enough to do it. Reagan said to all Americans simply "I believe you can do it, I believe in American exceptional ism".

Democrats are saying that with 50% of Americans on welfare and government payrolls it's a shoe in that we will re-elect Obama. But they are scared. It reminds me of the scene in Princess Bride when Buttercup and Humperdink are at the alter and there is a big ruckus outside, so the prince tells the priest to 'hurry up and skip to the end'. Buttercup says to the Prince "My Wesley is coming for me" to which the Prince touts "Your Wesley is dead, I killed him myself earlier today". To which Buttercup says simply "Then why is there fear in your eyes?"

Democrats will stand like Baghdad Bob proclaiming their unquestionable victory in the 2012 elections but I wonder... Why is there fear in their eyes?

Most Bizarre Suicide

At the 1994 annual awards dinner given by the American Association for Forensic Sciences, AAFS President Don Harper Mills astounded his audience in San Diego with the legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story...

On March 23 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a gunshot wound of the head caused by a shotgun. Investigation to that point had revealed that the decedent had jumped from the top of a ten story building with the intent to commit suicide. (He left a note indicating his despondency.) As he passed the 9th floor on the way down, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast through a window, killing him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the decedent was aware that a safety net had been erected at the 8th floor level to protect some window washers, and that the decedent would not have been able to complete his intent to commit suicide because of this...

Ordinarily a person who starts into motion the events with a suicide intent ultimately commits suicide even though the mechanism might be not what he intended. That he was shot on the way to certain death nine stories below probably would not change his mode of death from suicide to homicide, but the fact that his suicide intent would not have been achieved under any circumstance caused the medical examiner to feel that he had homicide on his hands...

Further investigation led to the discovery that the room on the 9th floor from whence the shotgun blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. He was threatening her with the shotgun because of an interspousal spat and became so upset that he could not hold the shotgun straight. Therefore, when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking the decedent.

When one intends to kill subject A, but kills subject B in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B. The old man was confronted with this conclusion, but both he and his wife were adamant in stating that neither knew that the shotgun was loaded. It was the longtime habit of the old man to threaten his wife with an unloaded shotgun. He had no intent to murder her; therefore, the killing of the decedent appeared then to be accident. That is, the gun had been accidentally loaded...

But further investigation turned up a witness that their son was seen loading the shotgun approximately six weeks prior to the fatal accident. That investigation showed that the mother (the old lady) had cut off her son's financial support, and her son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that the father would shoot his mother. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus...

Further investigation revealed that the son became increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to get his mother murdered. This led him to jump off the ten story building on March 23, only to be killed by a shotgun blast through a 9th story window.

The medical examiner closed the case as a suicide.

Will We Ever Elect A Conservative President Again?!

In the news today is the uprising of violence in Russia over the perceived vote rigging that gave Vladimir Putin's political party a narrow majority victory. With reports of 1st hand accounts of voting fraud Mikhail Gorbachev, 80 year old former president of Russia, said they need to nullify the elections or face the growing unrest and violence.

Hmmm.. we have occupy wall street, the darlings of the media now, who could stage an 'unrest' after an Obama landslide defeat, and can you see President Clinton saying "we need to nullify the election or face the rising unrest"? I sure can.

With this type of pressure to squelch the will of the people will we ever see a conservative candidate elected to the Presidency in our country again!?

The problem with Russia is they decided to dole out freedom like debit cards. Once you have used up all your freedom you have no more freedom to use. That didn't work so well because in the infamous words of Jeff Goldblum in Jarrasic Park "Life will find a way". So too will freedom find a way. Russia is about to experience a revolution because a generation has tasted freedom.

If the people's will is countermanded one more time in the United States I fear the outcome. The citizens of the United States have the right to bear arms but for the stated purpose of defending themselves against a tyrannical government! Nobody ever quotes the full amendment. The Liberals are always characterizing the tea party and conservatives as dangerous gun toting radicals. Maybe one reason for that is we have that right in the face of an oppressive government. They should be very afraid if they continue down this European style socialist road we are on. I don't know if you heard but Gun Sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday were up over previous years by 33%! Unfortunately, people are preparing for the worst.

We are a nation of Laws but isn't it interesting that our nation gained it's freedom by disobeying the law to pay an unreasonable tax on tea? You can only push free people so far with laws before you pay the ultimate price by the uprising of citizens that say 'enough is enough'.

What do you think? Can we politically oust the socialist element from our government and begin getting back to our conservative roots or is it going to take an uprising like hasn't been seen since 1776? I am hoping for the former..

Land on the Railroads! If you are not in the Union you now must forfeit 30% of your total cash on hand in order to continue to pay for unsustainable pensions given to the railroad workers. Yes your children will learn some valuable lessons this year when they play Obamonopoly!

Obama: No Working Whites!

It's all out in the open now. Obama's 2012 strategy is forming and his re-election strategy is focused. Obama will now reach out to the 'occupy' crowd for votes as he seeks a shameless attempt to expand welfare with no boundaries. Mr. Obama has decided that trying to run America according to conventional common sense, free market and constitutional elements is just not good enough for the current Democrat party. The problem is that many Democrats are backing away from the President as he draws his line in the sand. Not to mention, that his policies are unpopular with most of America and over 50% of Democrats.

From my perspective, any liberal that wanted a sustainable welfare state would do what is necessary to improve the economy, make sure most of us have jobs, maintain healthy housing prices, and assure gas prices are under $3 a gallon. Once this exists he can then brow beat the corporations to pay for his welfare programs and even hit up the middle class for a bit of taxation, and he wouldn't get too much guff for it.

But his current approach to try and get half the country on welfare and food stamps while the dollar plummets, unemployment is hopelessly stalled at 10%, debt rises and inflation is knocking on the door.. doesn't make any sense to anyone.

And now it all comes together with Obama (the first post racial president?) who is now in high gear with class warfare and white hate speech. This is a helluva thing to be observing and I can only hope it is a last resort and not some element of a brilliant scheme to destroy America once and for all. While the media sits by and cheers his every move, the people of this once great nation are voting anything but Democrat in their minds and polls are reflecting the same.

Can this trend be turned around in one year? This is a risky strategy, in that, if the Democrats fail to manipulate this current situation to their advantage, with their media influence at an all time low, they may not see a majority in congress for several decades. People are not fooled by the accusation of a 'do nothing congress' being responsible for our current plight. News is too easy to find on the internet for the inquiring minds of voters. No matter how many times Obama says 'it's Bushes fault' the truth is forming clearly in the minds of most Americans as well as other nations looking in.. Our mess is ALL Obama's fault.

So in 2012 we will have one of two outcomes:

1. Obama wins the election and America trends into an irreversible direction of socialism that will spawn questions from children decades from now "Grampa tell us again about when America was a free nation"

2. People overwhelmingly defeat liberalism in it's current form, Liberals are vilified for two decades and conservatives have 4-6 election cycles to put humpty dumpty back together again.

We have faced national crisis cycle in our nation about every 20-30 years and we can defeat liberalism this time as well. The people of America have shown one thing over 2 centuries and that is we are willing to fight and die for our freedom. Liberals have mistakenly believed that people in this country value government handouts more than they value freedom but they are about to learn a valuable and an historic lesson.

Heart Warming Holiday Story

A Tennessee man is facing a domestic assault charge after he allegedly struck his mother with a ham during an argument Tuesday afternoon in their home.

Emanuel Cordell Kennedy, 37, was collared after his mother told cops that she was hit in the back with the thrown ham as she was walking down the hall, according to a Union City Police Department report excerpted here.

In an interview with police, Kennedy claimed that he did not intend to hit his mother, 55-year-old Brenda King, with the tossed ham. King apparently was not injured by the pink missile, the size of which was not detailed by investigators.

Kennedy, pictured in the above mug shot, is being held without bond in the Obion County jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon on the misdemeanor count.

As a conservative thinker, I can be persuaded by logical, factual debate. The liberals have figured out that conservatives follow a code of ethics in their lives and have found ways to dupe us with faux arguments that sound logical and factual. But if you look at their positions on the whole there is no consistency. Consistency is another conservative value. In other words you are the same person at work as you are at home, as you are...

Recently Debbie Wasserman Schultz (DNC Chair) stated "Saying Life Begins at Conception Is ‘Extreme and Radical’" Of course she offers no proof to back this up, but here is the funny thing speaking of consistency. When looking for life, or proof of life on other planets, (i.e. Mars, the moon) they speculate the past existence of water and microbes as 'proof of life' but a much more complex organism (a sperm impregnated egg) is extreme and radical to be considered life?!

Again, the ACLU has crafted case law to make it no crime to perform a late term abortion (some with the baby partially out of the womb and is killed before it is completely delivered) but if you shoot a women 6 weeks pregnant you have committed double homicide?!

In a day and age where 'hypocritical' behavior can disqualify public figures both political and religious, it amazes me that our main stream news sources have no problem with blatant hypocrisy.

When Sharon Bailek accused Herman Cain, this week, of sexual misconduct 14 years ago, without proof, the media reports this as fact, with no background on the accuser. But when Bill Clinton had sexual misconduct charges publicly exposed, the same media did a 'Sarah Palin' level background check and reported only on damaging character traits of the accusers. Their goal was clearly to destroy the accusers and minimize the damage against Bill Clinton.

Liberals are using the exact same template to attack Cain as they did with Supreme Court Justice Nominee Clarence Thomas, using Anita Hill to make more unsubstantiated accusations against him. Their playbook is predictable: Truthful or not, the seriousness of the accusations will damage reputations. This is morally degenerate and a disgusting business as usual default position.

Liberal arguments are rife with nonfactual, unsubstantiated and politically motivated bumper sticker phrases and accusations against conservatives. They default to name calling in any intellectual confrontation and continually characterize their opponents as extreme.

As their viewer/readership ratings are plummeting, their rhetoric seems to increase and even when caught lying purposely to viewers to influence them against republicans, they are shameless to defend their non-existent integrity.

The disdain for the morally bankrupt nature of liberals, their agenda, and their media is the impetus for the Tea Party Movement. More people are conservative in nature than are radically liberal. We are done having a minority position shoved down our throats and our freedoms compromised or taken away altogether.

In 2012 you will see the conservative motivation burst forth like a storm of the century when liberals are soundly defeated and the restoration process begins. We will 'occupy' America once again with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!

Life, Liberty and the American Way

Recently the Kiwanis club held an awards ceremony at the Olive Garden but when they tried to bring in the American flag they were told by the store operators that it would 'upset' the dining experience for other patrons... UPDATE Corporate moguls at Olive Garden HQ have released a statement saying it was a terrible mistake and a misunderstanding of their corporate policy.

Recently a Starbuck's Coffee house in Arizona decided on a policy to not allow legal gun carrying customers into their stores. Upon public outrage the Corporate moguls said they had reversed their policy saying "Why pick a fight we can't win".

It appears that the liberal agenda to stigmatize patriotism and our 2nd amendment rights completely fails when 'We The People' actually have a say. We vote with our Debit Cards and the threat of the loss of income seems to be a pretty good motivator to keep these socialist loving moguls in check. But the trend is one that should have us vigilant in our own practice of patriotism.

As Veteran's Day approaches on November 11th this year we should display our American Flags as a statement of our own patriotism. I also recommend taking note, as a consumer, to stores and companies who refuse to display their patriotism. If your favorite store does not display an American Flag on November 11th, tell them that you are very disappointed at their lack of respect for those who served and fought for our right to free speech and that you are exercising yours by looking for another place to shop. Let your voice be heard. Don't allow the liberal media and leftest moguls win by letting another great American celebration go unnoticed in your community.

I for one plan to display the American Flag and attend a local event honoring veterans.

The Proof Is In The Putting

Here are ACTUAL facts about the State of the Union, in black and white (not a racist remark okay?) and undisputable. Take a good look and you can decide what Obama has done with his 'Historic' election, liberal media protecting, covering and pushing his agenda from behind, and enjoying some of the highest initial approval ratings in modern history. It didn't take me long to form my conclusion.

To all of you who troll the comments on news stories or perhaps join in internet TV chat boards (such as my personal favorite http://www.justin.tv/pepperman2#/w/1739149488), you might have seen (or heard in discussions) allegations that George Bush handed Obama a horrible economy, a huge deficit, terrible jobs numbers etc.. Some have even tried to use "facts" that actually aren't facts, but they look good on paper until you check them out.

I can tell you that the first thing you will hear from liberals is is that the "Republicans won't compromise with Obama because they want the economy to fail so he doesn't get re-elected." They might acknowledge these 'facts' but immediately blame Republicans .. the party of Know, er I mean NO! Remember liberals can sum up their political platforms on a bumper sticker so you are likely to hear identical remarks for multiple people. They don't coordinate, they are just not very deep intellectually. By the way the first chance Republicans got to actually make a difference was in January of 2010 and they did what they were elected to do in congress..They voted to repeal Obama Care, but Harry Reid wouldn't allow it to come up for a vote in the Senate.

Well here it is:

Obama spent $840 billion dollars on Stimulus (Net Jobs in August 2011..wait for it..ZERO), he had 60 votes in the senate and a super majority in the House for two years and never did he insist on passing a crucial jobs bill..But instead we got ObamaCare, an Omnibus spending bill, quantitative easing and a whole bunch of other government spending, while businesses were hampered with regulations, FEES (fees are not taxes?) and onerous requirements on employers related to Obama Care.

Let's make sure this economy is laid squarely on Obama and not a Tsunami, Republicans or a Hurricane (I won't even go into the whole Libya thing).

The left loves to say there is no such thing as absolute truth (like right and wrong). When you look at the stats above you can see why they don't like to be confronted with facts. Obama is in big trouble because a poor economy is what causes people to pay attention.

Definition of a Recession: When your neighbor loses his job.

Definition of a Depression: When you lose your job.

Definition of a Recovery: When Obama loses his job!

And that my brothers and sisters is the actual state of the union in our once great nation..

I have said it before and I will say it again; Democrats are only effective when they are criticizing someone who actually knows what they are doing.

This is the pattern that we see whenever Democrats are 'fully' in power in our country. The first thing they do is revel in their great victory and decry all the 'mean' policies of their predecessors. Next they begin making claims and promises which always end up with the 'Rich' paying their fair share.

Finally, like kids in a candy store, they begin spending 'Our' money like drunken sailors and anyone who expresses caution gets labeled 'mean spirited' or 'homophobic' and yes 'racist'. Invariably their programs and plans will fail and we end up where we are today.

On a side note, Bill Clinton did the same thing but by this point in his first term he was negotiating with Republicans on reforming welfare and other conservative key values. Any good thing Clinton is remembered for is a result of allowing conservative proposals to make it into public discussion and then seeing it pass into law.

Back to Barry. So here we are with nearly 3 years down and one to go, the coffers are empty, republicans have won a Historic election in the mid term elections, Bam's piggy bank has been sealed, the people are ready for relief from the deficit spending and 1% growth. Now Obama is been threatening to give us another speech..this time about a 'NEW' jobs program that will fix EVERYTHING.

Now has just scheduled his speech with a joint session of congress on the exact time and date of a long scheduled Republican Debate where Rick Perry will have his first National platform. The idea apparently is to delay the inevitable, to let America become formally introduced to the candidates that all want Obama's job. While the liberal media has been mis-characterizing, and out right lying about all these candidates for months and months, Obama is working hand in hand with them to try and keep Americans from meeting these people to decide for themselves what to believe.

Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels was Adolf Hitler's propaganda minister in Nazi Germany during world war II. He led the campaign against the Jewish people. Goebbels was quoted as saying:

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it"

In conclusion, the Democrats are once again in over their heads, they have no one left to criticize and they have no ideas of their own. In Obama's upcoming speech will he defy any common sense and continue to press for spending money we don't have and continue push the lie that taxing the rich will pay for all of it? It is this bloggers opinion that he will not give credence to any conservative ideas. He will continue to divide the country into the 'us' and 'them' and hope the politics of hate will prevail in the 2012 elections.

Over the Labor Day weekend Sarah Palin is going to be making an announcement, could it be she throws her hat into the presidential ring? This is not the republican field of John McCain and Mitt Romney. Today we have actual conservatives with double digit poll numbers who pose a serious threat to the Obama's.

Sao Paulo council calls for Heterosexual Pride Day

SAO PAULO (AP) -- The city council of South America's biggest city has adopted legislation calling for a Heterosexual Pride Day to be celebrated on the third Sunday of each December.

Sao Paulo Mayor Gilberto Kassab must sign the legislation for it to become law and has said only that he is studying it. His office declined Wednesday to say whether he supports the proposal.

The legislation's author, Carlos Apolinario, said the idea for a Heterosexual Pride Day is "not anti-gay but a protest against the privileges the gay community enjoys."

As an example, he mentioned how Sao Paulo's huge gay pride day parade is held every year on Paulista Avenue, one of the main thoroughfares in this city of 20 million people, while the March for Jesus organized by evangelical groups is not allowed on the same avenue.

"I respect gays and I am against any kind of aggression made against them," Apolinario said. "I have no trouble coexisting with gays as long as their behavior is normal."

The Brazilian Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Association criticized the legislation, saying it could provoke homophobic violence.

"How many LGBTs will be attacked because of the message that only heterosexuality makes someone a moral person and a good citizen," the association said in a statement.

"The celebration of heterosexual pride is inappropriate because it belittles the just cause of the LGBT community," the statement added. "Unlike homosexuals, heterosexuals are not discriminated against simply for being heterosexuals."

In a recent report, the gay rights group Grupo Gay da Bahia said 260 gays were murdered last year in Brazil, up 113 percent from five years earlier.

We visited the Reagan Presidential Library and I can't believe we didn't do this sooner. We were inspired, we laughed, we cried and left with a renewed sense of citizenship in this great country of America.

Cartoonists today have to be some of the most cynical and quick witted characters around.

This cartoon showing Obama 'strutting' on his endless spending spree since he took office then in disgust turns to a common tax payer (us) and says with disgust "How Embarrassing. You're short AGAIN!"

This strikes true in the hearts of most american citizens. Welfare and unemployment roles are the largest in history, while food stamp programs are at record highs and bursting at the seams. Taxation is an obvious fix for the Democrats who are having withdrawal symptoms when that can't spend 3X more than the government takes in. But the problem is you can't have record revenues and record unemployment at the same time. A socialist government would say "OK then lets just take all the money and give it back as we see fit" which has been done many times but eventually you run out of other peoples money.

I think this cartoon just reminds me that I don't dislike the person Barrack Obama but I really can't stand his elitist attitude towards the people that make this country great every day by waking up early, showing to work on time, bringing lunch to work, car pooling to save gas money and putting in a full day's work. Mean time the elitists sit and bounce around ideas about how to spend money that won't be earned until our grade school kids are vested in their 401K's (assuming those aren't raided too). Then when confronted with the reality that they can't keep spending unencumbered, they lay down the guilt trip of "everyone paying their fair share and sacrificing blah blah pass the caviar blah blah raise taxes!"

How about drill for oil in the U.S. and lets see gas prices go down below $2 a gallon again? How about giving businesses a hiring incentive that government will ease taxes based on % of profits re-invested with new employee hires? How about cutting some funding for 'Programs' that only exist to pay back old buddies for their campaign contribution and support?

There is a medium 'boil' in the patience of the American people and the one thing any political power should never forget is that we WILL FIGHT for freedom. We exist because of Tyrants and will will be reborn if Tyranny re-emerges.

Everyone on both sides of the Aisle would agree that the last truly conservative president was Ronald Reagan. He was elected on the heels of the most liberal president the US has seen since FDR.. Jimmy Carter. We watched Carter tear apart the fabric of this country with the class warfare message that we hear today from Obama. Taxation on the wealthy in this country was the highest it ever was and revenues couldn't keep up with the spending. In fact the 'misery index' was created just for Jimmy Carter's administration. I haven't heard the term misery index until Obama became president. Carter was so bad for this country that Ted Kennedy decided to challenge him in the primaries of his second term campaign. Thankfully Reagan was elected in 1980. Reagan immediately changed the tax code and cut government jobs and spending drastically. We saw that the answer to eliminating oppressive government regulations was to get rid of the regulatory agencies and 'Poof' regulations went away. We saw social programs go away too (like Agnew's State Hospital shut down) and there were more homeless people for awhile. But we recovered then and we can recover now with another conservative president.

Right now attacks on republicans, conservatives and past administration leaders is ringing hollow in the ears of 'Joe Voter' because it has become apparent that we are living in a night mare economy with no exits. The president doesn't have a message since Hope is hype and Change is what's left in your pockets. Those of you thinking he can run on his record well..

Lets look at the Obama record:
1. $400 mil for abortions ---> the first presidential action
2. Hate Crime Bill ----> for extra protection for sodomites & pedophiles & possible prosecution of pastors
3. Mandatory Health Insurance or fines or imprisionment ( + 19,000 IRS agents )
4. Ended DOMA, & working towards sodomite marriage.
5. SENT jobs to India ( pushed for Boeing Fab plant in India )
6. Bail Out of Goldman Sachs, and other large banks & too BIG too Fails
7. Obama: "We are no longer a christian nation"
8. Cancelled ever National Day of Prayer ceremony since being president but managed to to acknowledge or celebrate every Muslim holiday in that same stretch of time
9. Obama: "Israel, go back to the 67 boarders"
10. Kissing the Unions butts while they are draining federal and state budgets (unsustainable)

11. Won Nobel Peace Prize and started a war in Libya without congressional approval

12. Closed Guantanamo Bay.. Oh wait

13. Called a white cop stupid for arresting an uncooperative black suspect, then had a 'beer summit'

14. Has spent more time on the golf course within 2 years than Bush spent in 8 years

15. Speaking about efforts in Afghanistan prior to 2008 uses the term "we" even though he voted no or not present on every opportunity to support the war.

16. Uses the term " I " exclusively when talking about killing Bin-Laden

17. Blamed the Bush Tax Cuts for our economy calling them 'Unfunded tax cuts' but in January said our economy couldn't withstand letting the Bush tax cuts expire, now he is back to saying they caused the economic problems.

18. He is complaining about budget cuts proposed by the House of Representatives but doesn't acknowledge the hundreds of millions he spends on his unprecedented "CZARS"

19. TSA has become Gestapo like under the Obama administration now expanding to trains and soon they will exercise their unfettered power to do unlawful search and seizure in our cities and neighborhoods.

20. Has been quoted complaining that the US Constitution: "Spends too much time saying what the government can't do to the people, and not enough about what the government CAN do to the people."

21. Obama "Get used to high unemployment"

23. Obama "Don't buy a new car, buy a used car"

25. In the face of strangling oil and gas prices, President Obama continues to keep his off shore drilling moratorium in place in the U.S.

26. The Liberal Media which tried to destroy Reagan, Palin, Bush and others has had to show their hand defending this indefensible president and has lost most of their credibility with 'Joe Voter' as they are now commonly accepted as as broadcasting with a 'left leaning bias.

In Gold Cup final, it's red, white and boo again

So I read this story early this morning just before heading to the Gym to exercise with Stacy. I'm like, "the USA soccer team loses to Mexico 4-2 and when they come to LA for a welcome home they get booed?!" Apparently LA considers Mexico their home team.

I guess they broadcast this match on TV and it was in ALL SPANISH and the SAP was also in ALL SPANISH.

I then arrive at the Gym and am on the treadmill on the second floor over in the corner doing my walk/jog. There are Flat screens suspended from the Ceiling and I have my FM radio so I can listen in on them. Because I am in the corner there is only one TV I can see properly and playing on that TV is some local station 34 which is ALL SPANISH. But it was muted and had sub-titles, also in ALL SPANISH!

...Guess I better learn Spanish.

Main Stream Media Don't Get It

To say the mainstream media (MSM) hates Sarah Palin is like saying the Sun is hot. Within weeks of her introduction to the national stage in September of 2008, the MSM started chasing down every rumor and innuendo that hit their in-boxes and ears with a ferocity that, by comparison, makes Grover Norquist come across as mildly opposed to, but mostly indifferent toward, tax hikes. The MSM started digging into everything Palin and haven’t stopped. Her every tweet reorganizes MSNBC’s prime-time line-up.

Oddly, while spending the last 3 years telling the American public how irrelevant she is, they’ve covered her more than nearly anyone, with the exception of the “The One,” President Obama. So when she announced she was going on a bus tour of historic sites on the East Coast, the MSM mouth-frothing started.

But a funny thing happened on the way to...wherever.

Almost immediately the MSM started complaining about how Palin was treating them on a trip she didn’t invite them on. They complainedof being treated like paparazzi and not getting her schedule, that she was putting uninvited reporters’ lives at risk by not telling them where they were going next, someone named Martin Bashir (don’t waste your time looking him up) even claimed the whole thing might be illegalbecause she had a bus with the American flag on it (that eye-roll you just did is a natural reaction to disgust).

One of the most petty attacks came from The Washington Post, where Amy Gardner asserted the whole thing was “more of a whirlwind of photo-ops than a deep dive into American history” because she didn’t spend hours at each stop. Seems Ms. Gardner brought at stopwatch with her, noting the Palin family only spent 45 minutes at George Washington’s home, 30 minutes at the National Archives, 20 minutes at Fort McHenry and less than an hour at Independence Hall. Having been to all of those locations several times, I can tell you that’s plenty of time at each. These places aren’t huge, they aren’t the Louvre. Add to that the burden of disrupting the experience of everyone else there because the MSM forms a conga line of distraction and annoyance at every stop, and you might begin to see why she didn’t spend more time at each.

After nearly 3 years of dishonest attacks and innuendo against her, her husband, her beliefs and her children by the media, it’s ironic to see the MSM complain that SHE is treating THEM poorly. They’re like an abusive husband who thinks his wife should be grateful that he took off his rings when he hit her this time. Palin would have none of it, she was a class-act throughout, and was greeted by surprised adoring fans everywhere she went. That, more than anything else, is the real root of the MSM’s vitriol. Despite their best efforts to destroy her, she is exposing just how irrelevant they are.

Federal Judge Prohibits Prayer at Texas Graduation Ceremony

A federal judge has ordered a Texas school district to prohibit public prayer at a high school graduation ceremony. Chief U.S. District Judge Fred Biery’s order against the Medina Valley Independent School District also forbids students from using specific religious words including “prayer” and “amen.”

The ruling was in response to a lawsuit filed by Christa and Danny Schultz. Their son is among those scheduled to participate in Saturday’s graduation ceremony. The judge declared that the Schultz family and their son would “suffer irreparable harm” if anyone prayed at the ceremony.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott said the school district is in the process of appealing the ruling, and his office has agreed to file a brief in their support.
“Part of this goes to the very heart of the unraveling of moral values in this country,” Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott told Fox News Radio, saying the judge wanted to turn school administrators into “speech police.”

“I’ve never seen such a restriction on speech issued by a court or the government,” Abbott told Fox News Radio. “It seems like a trampling of the First Amendment rather than protecting the First Amendment.”

Judge Biery’s ruling banned students and other speakers from using religious language in their speeches. Among the banned words or phrases are: “join in prayer,” “bow their heads,” “amen,” and “prayer.” He also ordered the school district to remove the terms “invocation” and “benediction” from the graduation program. “These terms shall be replaced with ‘opening remarks’ and ‘closing remarks,'” the judge’s order stated. His ruling also prohibits anyone from saying, “in [a deity’s name] we pray.”

Should a student violate the order, school district officials could find themselves in legal trouble. Judge Biery ordered that his ruling be “enforced by incarceration or other sanctions for contempt of Court if not obeyed by District official (sic) and their agents.”

The Texas attorney general called the ruling unconstitutional and a blatant attack from those who do not believe in God -- “attempts by atheists and agnostics to use courts to eliminate from the public landscape any and all references to God whatsoever.”

“This is the challenge we are dealing with here,” he said. “(It’s) an ongoing attempt to purge God from the public setting while at the same time demanding from the courts an increased yielding to all things atheist and agnostic.” Ayesa Khan, an attorney representing the student and his parents, told KABB-TV she was delighted in the judge’s decision.

“It caused him a great deal of anxiety,” she said, referring to her teenage client. “He has gone to meet with the principal to try and talk in a civilized way about long-standing problems, and the school district has continued to thumb its nose.” The judge did grant students permission to make the sign of the cross, wear religious garb or kneel to face Mecca. But that’s not good enough for some students at the high school.

“It’s just a big surprise that one kid can come in and change what’s been a tradition since Medina Valley started,” student Abigail Russell told KABB-TV.
Fellow student Alicia Jade Geurin agreed.

“At graduation, I would love to be able to speak from my heart,” she told the TV station. “But in this situation I feel my freedom of speech and my First Amendment is being infringed upon if I can’t say what I feel.”

But the Rev. Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, hailed the judge’s decision. “This is a high school graduation,” he told Fox News Radio. “It is not a church service.”

Lynn was critical of the attorney general’s allegation that the ruling was an attempt to purge Christianity from the public square. “Any attorney general worth his salt would know that’s the issue and that this is not about promoting atheism,” he said. “That’s ludicrous.”

So WE THE PEOPLE have spoken during the mid-term election. We feel pretty good because we made historic gains in the House of Representatives (Most since 1948). The president spoke today and took some responsibility, and most people will lose focus on government now because they feel they 'spanked' the Dem's enough so they will behave for awhile... Oh but there is so much more.

The worst time for a liberal leader is when they are in the majority. In this time they can't help being cruel to conservatives, spend and grow government, pay back their political allies (using our tax $$), pass restrictive regulations that infringe on our constitutional freedoms, and worst of all..they occasionally tell us what they REALLY Believe. This comes out in actions and communications that show how little they care about minorities and women, how much they despise the citizens right to free speech, How they hate the freedoms we have to pursue happiness with out their help or control, and how much they hate America and want to fundamentally change our constitutional structure. (Oops! Did I say that)

They arrogantly tell us what light bulbs to use, what to eat and not eat, which car we have to drive, who gets handouts and who doesn't, who keeps their home and who loses it. The constitution doesn't provide the government any of these powers and yet they take and usurp power that is not theirs. This is the ultimate definition of a liberal in politics today. Given the opportunity they will go this route every single time.. but we forget.

But now Democrats are entering into what I call Their ELEMENT. This is a function similar to a pack of dogs nipping at the heel, or a swarm of gnats drawing minute amounts of blood. They are really good a picking and nipping at real leaders who try to pragmatically restore our economy, government, security, freedom etc.. This has traditionally been the role of conservatives in the United States. This has worked well for them in the past because the main stream media is also really good at taking the Dem's lead and ballooning a story in order to demonize a conservative leader. They are good at diverting attention away from the good conservatives are doing to mire them with made up and mis-characterized stories that results in a deluge of gnat-like reporter asking stupid questions over and over. I can remember when Newt Gingrich was trying to balance the budget and the Dem's wouldn't compromise and dared Newt the shut down the government. The story should have been on the Dem's unwillingness to work with Republicans but NOOOOOOOOO. The headlines and stories were all about how Newt Gingrich wanted to starve our school children. And it would not go away.

So as we enter this next term for congress watch carefully what the House leaders communicate to us and how ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS and others choose to highlight as their headline stories. If you pay attention you will see amazing teamwork. The press will highlight (or make up) a twisted point of view and report it, then Dem minority leaders in the house will publicly lambaste the republicans and cite the news story as their source but they will say it like "The press is reporting.."

Our only hope to get Obama out of office in 2012 is for our new House members to take a stand and NOT compromise with Obama, but rather tell him how it is going to be. Pass a repeal of the health care plan and force Obama to VETO it. Pass Tax cut extensions for all and force Obama to VETO it. This will go along way toward getting him out in 2012. If our new members don't do this they will feel the wrath in 2012 and beyond.

The Curious Case Of The Liberal Plumb-line

It must be hard to be a liberal, be in the media and try to constantly portray yourself as representing the views of middle america.

The United States is a country that is Center-Right in it's political ideology. This can be seen by the viewer rating disparity between FOX NEWS and all of the other Liberal Media Outlets (CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC etc..)

In a dark smokey room somewhere in a secret underground bunker the brain trust of the liberals must have had the following conversation:

Lib1: "We have a problem, the sheep er uh people of this country are being informed by FOX and Talk Radio, so our time tested deceptions and misdirections aren't working anymore. We need a new mantra because 'They are going to cut your social security and starve our school Kids' isn't working for us anymore. But,I mean we can't actually TELL people what we want to do to this country and it's people or they would run us out on a rail. Any suggestions?"

Lib2: "Well these problem people are the ones who relate to the Tea Party Movement so we can say they are racist"

Lib1: "Won't work, are we going to call 75% of the country a bunch of racists? I think Not. Next.."

Lib3: "Well we can say they are violent militia members and try to scare them into not voting for those candidates"

Lib1: "Again they make up a huge majority of the country, we don't want to give them any ideas. Gun sales are up 500% since Obama was elected. There has to be something better that that.

Lib4: "Why don't we just pretend that we ARE the plumb-line of America and anyone who doesn't share our point of view are extremist wacko's"

Lib1: "Hmmm, that has been our most successful approach in the past, I mean it bit us in the ass when we voted Hilter Time magazines person of the year that one time and he made us look bad by killing all of those Jew.. wait do we believe in the Holocaust? (affirmative nods) Okay yeah Hitler really blew it for us. Let's just say that all of the Tea Party candidates are extreme, dangerous, and far out of the mainstream.. which is us!"

Lib5: "Um, so what are we going to look like when Angle, Miller and O'Donnell get elected?"

Lib1: "We just have Keith make them the Worst Person In The World an extra couple of times and people will forget about all that"

Lib6: "Okay, let's talk about the president. I mean if he doesn't work with the conservative congress how are we going to create wealth so we can redistribute it?"

Lib1: "That's the problem with socialism, eventually we run out of other peoples money. I'm afraid we are running out of options boys. We might have to suffer another 8-12 years of conservative tax cuts, job building, shrinking government and cutting entitlements. Look on the bright side, our homes will be worth more than we owe after a couple of years of those kind of policies.. (group laughter)"

Soros: We have to be more patient like Muslim terrorists, we wait until they feel secure and then we strike again. All we have to do is try to hold onto what we've gotten this time around. It may not be the next time or the time after that but we will see a communist government in America eventually. Hang in there boys."

Now maybe it wasn't exactly like that but the talking heads are all getting their exact wording to slant stories and smear people from somewhere.

Last Thought:
Conservative women are taking a great amount of flak right now, perhaps more unfair treatment and characterization than any other people group an any time save the Jewish nation. I predict (I have been pretty accurate on these over the past few years) that our next president or Vice President will be a conservative women. I also believe that they will be the one's to break the 'establishment' republican/democrat hold on congress. It has been my experience that when men screw things up to the point of making women's lives unbearable (and it takes alot) women take things into their own hands and pragmatically (not ideologically) fix things.

So to all of you conservative ladies out there I just want to say "How is that hope and change working out for you, cause we could really use some help..."

I think there is growing evidence that voter fraud played a big part in the make up of Congress in the 2008 elections and we hear new stories every day.

How to Steal an Election
What we are seeing is the transplantation of Chicago politics to communities throughout the nation that are completely unprepared for the level of fraud and intimidation that can be generated by thousands of unethical Democrats, including private citizens, local, state, and federal officials, and politicians, convinced that breaking the law is okay as long as the “right” candidate wins.

On July 6, American Thinker published an article by Lee Cary about an interview with a Chicago political machine insider. It contained the following warning:

“In Chicago, the Precinct Captains watch to see who votes and who doesn’t. Then, at the end of the day, others will cast votes for those who haven’t shown up to vote, all under the direction of the Precinct Captain. If the actual voter shows up later, they’re given someone else’s card. The Republican poll watchers don’t stop this. Hell, most of them are actually Democrats.”

The Democrat Voter Fraud Playbook is as follows:

ACORN registers the names, legitimate or not.
Black Panther, SEIU and other “community organizer” groups intimidate people, especially minorities, from voting Republican.
Voter lists remain unscrubbed of felons, dead people, and illegal immigrants.
On Election Day, precinct workers submit any unused ballots for Democrat candidates.
Democrat officials and politicians pretend like nothing happened.
It’s as easy as that to steal an election.

An Army of Republican Poll Watchers Will Be Needed this November
The voter fraud stories so far are just the tip of a very large iceberg. No one really knows the full extent of the problem and the Democratic Party is counting on Americans to shrug it off as just another conservative conspiracy theory.

But take it from a lifelong Chicagoan, it’s not just Bosnia that needs election observers to keep voter fraud in check.

The dropping of voter intimidation charges by Department of Justice political appointees against billy club wielding Black Panthers sends the message to the Democrat community that mass voter fraud can continue without fear of legal reprisal.

Justice officials know full well that if they were to start digging around this Pandora’s Box of fraud, many influential Democratic organizations (especially ACORN) and politicians will be implicated. So they go straight to Step #5 from above and pretend like there’s nothing to see.

While the problem may be substantial, there is one way Republicans can fight back: Keep a close eye on voting locations. Election fraud only works if citizens remain ignorant to the problem and unwilling to become involved in the voting process.

Considering the importance of the upcoming November elections, an army of Republican poll watchers, especially in minority neighborhoods which are often treated like never ending vote generating machines by unscrupulous Democrat politicians, will be needed to prevent liberals from once again stuffing ballot boxes and gaming the system.

Liberalism under siege is an ugly sight indeed. Just yesterday it was all hope and change and returning power to the people. But the people have proved so disappointing. Their recalcitrance has, in only 19 months, turned the predicted 40-year liberal ascendancy (James Carville) into a full retreat. Ah, the people, the little people, the small-town people, the "bitter" people, as Barack Obama in an unguarded moment once memorably called them, clinging "to guns or religion or" -- this part is less remembered -- "antipathy toward people who aren't like them."

That's a polite way of saying: clinging to bigotry. And promiscuous charges of bigotry are precisely how our current rulers and their vast media auxiliary react to an obstreperous citizenry that insists on incorrect thinking.

-- Resistance to the vast expansion of government power, intrusiveness and debt, as represented by the Tea Party movement? Why, racist resentment toward a black president.

-- Disgust and alarm with the federal government's unwillingness to curb illegal immigration, as crystallized in the Arizona law? Nativism.

-- Opposition to the most radical redefinition of marriage in human history, as expressed in Proposition 8 in California? Homophobia.

-- Opposition to a 15-story Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero? Islamophobia.

Now we know why the country has become "ungovernable," last year's excuse for the Democrats' failure of governance: Who can possibly govern a nation of racist, nativist, homophobic Islamophobes?

Note what connects these issues. In every one, liberals have lost the argument in the court of public opinion. Majorities -- often lopsided majorities -- oppose President Obama's social-democratic agenda (e.g., the stimulus, Obamacare), support the Arizona law, oppose gay marriage and reject a mosque near Ground Zero.

What's a liberal to do? Pull out the bigotry charge, the trump that preempts debate and gives no credit to the seriousness and substance of the contrary argument. The most venerable of these trumps is, of course, the race card. When the Tea Party arose, a spontaneous, leaderless and perfectly natural (and traditionally American) reaction to the vast expansion of government intrinsic to the president's proudly proclaimed transformational agenda, the liberal commentariat cast it as a mob of angry white yahoos disguising their antipathy to a black president by cleverly speaking in economic terms.

Then came Arizona and S.B. 1070. It seems impossible for the left to believe that people of good will could hold that: (a) illegal immigration should be illegal, (b) the federal government should not hold border enforcement hostage to comprehensive reform, i.e., amnesty, (c) every country has the right to determine the composition of its immigrant population.

As for Proposition 8, is it so hard to see why people might believe that a single judge overturning the will of 7 million voters is an affront to democracy? And that seeing merit in retaining the structure of the most ancient and fundamental of all social institutions is something other than an alleged hatred of gays -- particularly since the opposite-gender requirement has characterized virtually every society in all the millennia until just a few years ago?

And now the mosque near Ground Zero. The intelligentsia is near unanimous that the only possible grounds for opposition is bigotry toward Muslims. This smug attribution of bigotry to two-thirds of the population hinges on the insistence on a complete lack of connection between Islam and radical Islam, a proposition that dovetails perfectly with the Obama administration's pretense that we are at war with nothing more than "violent extremists" of inscrutable motive and indiscernible belief. Those who reject this as both ridiculous and politically correct (an admitted redundancy) are declared Islamophobes, the ad hominem du jour.

It is a measure of the corruption of liberal thought and the collapse of its self-confidence that, finding itself so widely repudiated, it resorts reflexively to the cheapest race-baiting (in a colorful variety of forms). Indeed, how can one reason with a nation of pitchfork-wielding mobs brimming with "antipathy toward people who aren't like them" -- blacks, Hispanics, gays and Muslims -- a nation that is, as Michelle Obama once put it succinctly, "just downright mean"?

The Democrats are going to get beaten badly in November. Not just because the economy is ailing. And not just because Obama over-read his mandate in governing too far left. But because a comeuppance is due the arrogant elites whose undisguised contempt for the great unwashed prevents them from conceding a modicum of serious thought to those who dare oppose them.

Follow The Leader

In the spirit of full disclosure I must say that I am not a fan of the main stream media (i.e. network news) because I am holding a slight grudge. For the majority of my life I have held conservative views on America, the constitution, and family values but was made to feel by these network power freaks that my opinions were an extreme minority view in this country. When the 'New' media exploded in the late nineties and especially the last 4 years or so, it has become clear to me that the old guard media has been manipulating facts mixed with non-reporting inconvenient truths. So I'm a little ticked that they duped me all these years. Ok so with that in mind I want to gloat just a little bit about our current situation.

When we were kids we played Simon Says, Red Light Green Light and Follow The Leader (smear the queer, king of the hill, capture the flag you get the point). Today I have watched the main stream media playing a strategic game of follow the leader with President Obama that has backfired and I find it quite humorous. First, they completely disregarded Obama's lack of qualifications as they non-vetted him as a candidate. They found it to be just fine that we couldn't get medical records, college transcripts, a simple birth certificate, or any other relevant information by which to vet the candidate properly. They ignored Obama's connections to Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky and other communist, socialist radicals, and they all had on screen climax's every time he spoke. They took the presidents talking points and slanted stories to the White House's liking, they interviewed for jobs in his administration and many have crossed over, and they continued to ignore Democratic damaging stories while fabricating and reporting gossip against any conservative. They have characterized the Tea Party movement as racist, Marxist, and even fachiost, while praising the violent protest of liberals and inflating their crowd numbers.

So here we are with a man-child as president, who continues to campaign whilst simultaneously destroying the fabric and infrastructure of this nation. Obama is now banging his head against the walls of his functional job description, has not governed an iota and continues to blame Bush for his current situation. The media is committed to this follow the leader approach they have taken but suddenly they see that their scheme is becoming transparent to the masses and they are starting to bail. It is so fun to watch ABC, NBC, CBS and their cable counterparts selectively turn on Mr. Obama in their floundering attempt to seem credible in news reporting. The fact is that Obama's poll numbers are down to 42% and the masses are boycotting the mainstream driveling propaganda they are spewing and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I want my country back! I want conservative leaders who will render the mainstream media impotent. I want leaders who will restore our balance of social programs vs GDP, who will ease tax burdens on businesses so capitalism (or now it's called free market growth) will return to employ people again. I want leaders who will first defund Obama's agenda and then repeal it. I want a country that values laws and punishes criminal offenders. I want leaders who will speak truthfully about where we are as a nation and give us a plan to get back to the great and exceptional nation we were destined to be. I can't wait to VOTE in November!

NOTE TO LIBERAL MEDIA: Your Jihad against conservative values clearly trumps your desire to be profitable. My advice is to keep doing what you are doing because it's working for me.

LONDON (AP) - Six weeks of vacation a year. Retirement at 60. Thousands of euros for having a baby. A good university education for less than the cost of a laptop.

The system known as the European welfare state was built after World War II as the keystone of a shared prosperity meant to prevent future conflict. Generous lifelong benefits have since become a defining feature of modern Europe.

Now the welfare state - cherished by many Europeans as an alternative to what they see as dog-eat-dog American capitalism - is coming under its most serious threat in decades: Europe's sovereign debt crisis.

Deep budget cuts are under way across Europe. Although the first round is focused mostly on government payrolls - the least politically explosive target - welfare benefits are looking increasingly vulnerable.

"The current welfare state is unaffordable," said Uri Dadush, director of the Carnegie Endowment's International Economics Program. "The crisis has made the day of reckoning closer by several years in virtually all the industrial countries."

Germany will decide next month just how to cut at least 3 billion euros ($3.75 billion) from the budget. The government is suggesting for the first time that it could make fresh cuts to unemployment benefits that include giving Germans under 50 about 60 percent of their last salary before taxes for up to a year. That benefit itself emerged after cuts to an even more generous package about five years ago.

"We have to adjust our social security systems in a way that they motivate people to accept regular work and do not give counterproductive incentives," German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble told news weekly Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung on Saturday.

The uncertainty over the future of the welfare state is undermining the continent's self-image at a time when other key elements of post-war European identity are fraying.

Large-scale immigration from outside Europe is challenging the continent's assumptions about its dedication to tolerance and liberty as countries move to control individual clothing - the Islamic veil - in the name of freedom and equality.

Deeply wary of military conflict, many nations now find themselves nonetheless mired in Afghanistan on behalf of what was supposed to be a North Atlantic alliance, shying away from wholesale pullout while doing their utmost to keep troops from actual combat.

Demographers and economists began warning decades ago that social welfare was doomed by the aging of Europe's baby boomers. Some governments had been trimming and reforming, but now almost all are scrambling to close deficits in order to prevent a wider collapse of confidence in the euro.

"We need to change, to adapt ... for the sake of the protection of our social model," European Union Commissioner Joaquin Almunia of Spain told reporters in Stockholm Thursday.

The move is risky: experts warn the cuts could undermine the growth needed to pull budgets back on a sustainable path.

On Monday, Britain unveils 6 billion pounds ($8.6 billion) in cuts - mostly to government payrolls and expenses. The government has promised to raise the age at which citizens receive a state pension - up from 60 to 65 for women, and from 65 to 66 for men. It also plans to toughen the welfare regime, requiring the unemployed to try to find jobs in order to collect benefits.

Britain says it will limit child tax credits and scrap a 250-pound ($360) payment to the families of every newborn. Ministers are reviewing the long-term affordability of the country's generous public sector pensions.

Funding for Britain's nationalized health care service will be protected under the new government, however, and should rise each year to 2015.

France's conservative government is focusing on raising the retirement age. Many workers can now retire at 60 with 50 percent of their average salary. Extra funds are available for retired civil servants, those with three or more children, military veterans and others.

A parliamentary debate is planned for September. Unions in France are organizing a national day of protest marches and strikes on Thursday to demand protection of wages and the retirement age.

In Spain, billions in cuts to state salaries go into effect next month, and the Socialist government has frozen increases in pensions meant to compensate for inflation for at least two years.

"They've hit us really hard," said Federico Carbonero, 92, a retired soldier. He said he was unlikely to live long enough to see the worst of the pension freeze, but had no doubts he would have to start relying on savings to maintain his lifestyle.

Spain is cutting assistance payments for disabled people by 300 million euros ($375 million) and did away with a three-year-old bonus of 2,500 euros ($3,124.25) per new baby. It also has proposed hiking the retirement age for men from 65 to 67.

Countries in northern Europe have done a far better of reforming social welfare and have unemployment systems that focus on re-employing people instead of making their unemployment comfortable, said Gayle Allard, a professor of economic environment and country analysis at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.

Denmark and other Nordic countries are known for the world's highest taxes and most generous cradle-to-grave benefits. Denmark has implemented a system known broadly as "flexicurity," which combines flexibility for employers to hire and fire workers with financial security and training to prepare for new jobs.

Denmark had a 7.5 percent unemployment rate in the first quarter of this year, well below the EU average of 9.6 percent. Swedish and Finnish unemployment stood at 8.9 percent. Norway, with some of the world's most generous unemployment benefits fully funded by oil for the forseeable future, has Europe's lowest jobless rate, just 3 percent in April.

Southern European countries that have not moved toward reforming welfare in the same ways are paying a steep price.

After sharp cutbacks imposed as the condition of an international bailout this month, Greeks must now contribute to pension funds for 40 instead of 37 years before retiring, and the age of early retirement is set to 60 at the earliest.

Civil servants with monthly salaries of above 3,000 euros ($3,750) will lose two extra months of salary - one paid at Christmas, the other split between Easter and summer vacation.

In Portugal, seen as another potential candidate for bailout, the government is focusing on hikes in income, corporate and sales taxes and has avoided drastic changes to welfare entitlements. Unemployment benefits will be cut somewhat and the out-of-work will have to accept any job paying more than 10 percent more than what they would receive in unemployment benefits.

The government is also stepping up checks on welfare claims, freezing public sector pay and slicing public investment.

"There's been a lack of willingness to shift away from welfare as purely social protection towards an approach which has been in much of northern Europe in recent years, which is welfare as social investment," said Iain Begg, a professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science's European Institute.

Otto Fricke, a budget expert for the Free Democrats, the coalition partner of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Union, told The Associated Press that no decisions on cuts have been made, but everything is on the table except education, pension funds and financial aid to developing countries. At least one high-ranking CDU member has called for the idea of protecting education to be re-examined, however.

German public education, which was virtually free until 2005, when some of Germany's 16 states started charging tuition fees of 1000 euros ($1,250) a year.

Virtually all Germany's students pay that much or less to attend state-funded universities, including elite institutions. Education isn't as cheap elsewhere in Europe but the 3,290 pounds ($4,720) per year paid by British students at Cambridge is still far less than Americans pay at comparable schools like Harvard, where annual tuition comes in just shy of $35,000.

The idea of cutting education is proving hard to swallow in the face of Germany's promise to contribute up to 147.6 billion euros ($184.5 billion) in loan guarantees to protect Greece and other countries that use the euro from bankruptcy.

"I am worried that this crisis will also affect me on a personal level, for example, that universities in Germany will raise the tuition in order to pay the loan they give to Greece," said Karoline Daederich, a 22-year-old university student from Berlin.

Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael
Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to
the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and
methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to
our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what
has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell
them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in
the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws,
while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary
Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and
foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling
the truth? What it means is that there will be no
publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in
Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the
United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm
and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public.
We will wake up another morning and find that the US has
signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm
ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning
and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US
citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local
government collection and destruction center or face
imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false
warning. As sure as government health care will be forced
on us by the Obama administration through whatever means
necessary, so will gun control.

U.S. reverses stance on treaty to
regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The
United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it
would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms
sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance

Someone once told me that 'Perception is Reality', in other words if I perceive you to be a certain way then my thoughts will go that way and ultimately my opinion becomes that way. My reality, as flawed as it may be, is definitely formed from my perceptions.

Don't confuse perception with judgement. Judgement 'uses' perception to categorize people and apply your principles to their perceived behavior, to form an unrealistic case for or against them. This is probably why Jesus told us not to judge one another.

So I was listening to a real Democrat (the kind of Democrat that was around in my parents day) on television tonight. He made a real good point. That it's not about winning or losing in party politics, rather it's about a kind of iron-sharpening-iron effect that leads to good pragmatic laws being past with the public interest always at the forefront. He was lamenting that this has not been the case with the Obama administration or the Pelosi/Reid Congress. He also blames Republicans and I must say I agree.

I remembered how I felt post 9-11 when both parties worked together to make sense of the attack on the Towers in NYC. I remember how no one was 'grabbing' the lime light and trying to paint the other party in a negative light or minimize their accomplishments. I remember seeing CSPAN coverage of debates and hearing both sides making sensible arguments.. I remember thinking how glad I was that we had such good people in our government.

...and then about 18 months away from 2004 elections, in a concerted Democrat and Media effort, I remember how shocked I was to hear those same democrats say the opposite of what they had been saying 2 years prior. It made me feel sick. I realized that this is what elections had come down to. The Republicans responded in like manner along with Sean Hannity and others.. nit picking, mis-characterizing and again it came down to who was right and who would win.

Then I look at the Tea Party movement in our country. Whether you like it or not, it is a large population of our country that is unhappy with our representation. This group alone is controversial because they don't reflect the sentiments of everyone, or are 'perceived' and 'Judged' to be a certain type of people. But the worst thing is that those in 'Power', i.e. our elected officials want to cast them as fringe kooks carrying silly signs that can't be taken seriously. Why? Because they are wanting our nation to go back to its roots and core beliefs of the constitution. Our Government officials enjoy way more power than the constitution affords and ultimately when another conservative is back in office, government will shrink, mandates and entitlements at taxpayers expense will cease, and we will get back to the work of rebuilding the greatest nation ever conceived on this planet and in Human History.

This Government spending and takeover of companies and health care has sparked alot of debate and it has unintentionally done something that neither party is thrilled about.. It has exposed and awakened a large population of 'regular citizens' to the corruptions and elitism that exists in our congress. This is bad for every sitting congress person and senator because the over reaction in 2010 is to vote them all out. That would be unfortunate, but the lesson here to all public officials is this: "You must govern in a transparent way that represents those you represent or you will have a very short political life"

Having said all of this, I believe that the reason no other nation affords it's citizens the rights we enjoy is that they don't 'trust' the people to do the right thing. This is universally true, mob rule gave us lynchings and the like.. bad mob. But no other nation has a revered document that restrains both the people and the politicians like the Constitution of these United States. The elitist progressives say "hey we are arrogant to think that such a young country could have gotten right, we need to take our cues from European nations:" But let's not forget that those who formed this document took into account the thousands of years of abuse and failure that led to the conditions in England and other European countries, to be the way they were.

In effect, we were the beneficiaries of thousands of years of trying different methods. Bottom line, without the Constitution and 3 pronged government, we would have fallen long ago. So it is my perception today that we need to all agree on this document, try not to radically change or abolish it, and look for ways we can work together to make our government spend less and work better for it's Citizens.

It is truly amazing, but not shocking, that Democrats are now making up allegations of protester racism and the news arms of the DNC are now openly wondering if Republican Congressman are culpable for the violence and racial slurs?

Wow, protesters in Ottawa managed to become so violent that Ann Coulter was advised not to proceed with attending her invited scheduled debate on campus." Francois Houle, vice-president academic and provost of the University of Ottawa, sent Coulter a preemptive email the day before her scheduled debate.

In Houle’s e-mail, a copy of which was obtained by the National Post, the administrator urges Coulter to weigh her words with “respect and civility in mind” when she speaks at the University of Ottawa campus Tuesday.

“Our domestic laws, both provincial and federal, delineate freedom of expression (or ‘free speech’) in a manner that is somewhat different than the approach taken in the United States. I therefore encourage you to educate yourself, if need be, as to what is acceptable in Canada and to do so before your planned visit here.”

Houle goes on: “Promoting hatred against any identifiable group would not only be considered inappropriate, but could in fact lead to criminal charges.”

AND..this is how liberals around the world conduct themselves toward any adversary. If you speak the truth you are a 'hater' and use 'hate speech', if someone completely trashes a conservative? well, no one complains.

IN other news, Santa Clara California City Council, though they are facing a $250 million dollar budget deficit, have decided to use their resources to take on the task of 'forcing' McDonald's to remove their children's toys from 'Happy Meals'. They claim they have the authority to do so because the toys cause children to gravitate toward these high fat, high sugar food choices and after all, it is a health care issue so we are empowered to 'control' private citizens and private industry. (after all Washington just opened that door).

Meanwhile, New home sales are the lowest on record, liberal papers and magazines have seen advertising drop to 1987 levels, true unemployment is 17% (because they don't count people that stop trying to find work), Healthcare companies as well as many states claim that bankruptcy is only a few years away due to the new health care legislation and liberals are now saying that the public is angry but that it will improve now that Obama care has passed into law. They claim the 'anger' was NOT due to the bill itself, but rather that it took too long to get it passed.. but that's all over now.

Healthcare taxes on menu items at your local restaurant to help cover the cost of providing full healthcare benefits to all those part-time bus boys and food servers.

Final note: The worst of the Healthcare mandates will hit us (and I mean all of us) in 2014. Also the insurance industry doesn't calculate for the immediate provisions until after the 2010 elections. When health care premiums triple in 2011, because they have now no choice to stay in business, do you think the Dem's might then say "Oh those greedy insurance companies! We need to pass a bill to get rid of the insurance companies and go to a single payer healthcare plan."? Watch for it, be vigilant, be prayerful, God is still on the throne (but don't tell Obama or he might try to eliminate the competition).

I am an eyewitness to history. I can tell you that Hitler did not take Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide - 98% of the vote. I've never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.
In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates. Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn't want to work; there simply weren't any jobs. My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people - about 30 daily.
The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other. Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna, Linz, and Graz were destroyed. The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted.
We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany, where Hitler had been in power since 1933. We had been told that they didn't have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group - Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria . We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany.
We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.
After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.
Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn't support his family.

Hitler Targets Education-Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children:
Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler's picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn't pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles," and had physical education.
Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail. The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free. We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.
My mother was very unhappy. When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn't do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun - no sports, and no political indoctrination. I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing. Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler. It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn't exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.

Equal Rights Hits Home
In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn't work, you didn't get a ration card, and if you didn't have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their families didn't have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.
Soon after this, the draft was implemented. It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps. During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys. They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines. When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat. Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.

Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare:
When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers. You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government. The state raised a whole generation of children. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.
Health Care and Small Business choked by Government Controls:
Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna ... After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full. If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.
As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80% of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families. All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.
We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn't meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.
We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, and then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.

"Mercy Killing" Redefined:
In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps . The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated. So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work. I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van. I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months. They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.
As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.

The Final Steps - Gun Laws:
Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.
No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.
Totalitarianism didn't come quickly; it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.
After World War II, Russian troops occupied Austria. Women were raped, preteen to elderly. The press never wrote about this either. When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process. They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn't destroy, they burned. We called it "The Burned Earth." Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses. Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized. Those who couldn't; paid the price. There is a monument in Vienna today, dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians. This is an eye witness account.
It's true. Those of us who sailed past the Statue of Liberty came to a country of unbelievable freedom and opportunity. America Truly is the greatest country in the world. Don't let freedom slip away.
After America, there is no place else to go!

Last Words Before Sunday's Vote

Communism and Socialism are bad words in our free society. The reason it is tried over and over again is that in theory it works! In the book of ACTS St. Peter preached a sermon and over 3000 people were saved and added to the church that day. The result was that people in the church voluntarily sold their properties and donated the proceeds to the church to supply for the needs of feeding the many people added to the church. This is a form of social justice or socialism. But even this process became corrupt in the church.

ACTS 5:1 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. With his wife's full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles' feet. Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?

So what was the problem? They lied and told Peter that this was the whole amount. So if socialism can't be successfully executed within the confines of our own Christian faith, how then can a government withstand the temptation? ANSWER: No government that has tried socialism has been able to resist the corruption that comes with so much power.

The goal with this health care reform that will be voted on Sunday, is not to provide every person with affordable health care, or lower the deficit. The true goal here is to create a social program that is so sweeping that it cannot be repealed, but is systemically unsustainable. The only choices our elected officials will have in the future is to raise taxes on the people to the 40-60% of all other socialist countries in order to fulfill those promises. Unfortunately this will kill jobs, free market and other incentives that Americans have enjoyed for centuries. But in the end, government will be in control of every aspect of our lives and Democrats can 'deem' themselves in office indefinitely.

If Democrats pass this law on Sunday by using the 'Deem & Pass' rule or 'Reconciliation' and are allowed to get away with this measure, we are likely to see Amnesty for illegals passed using this same method before we have the chance to vote them out in November. What would stop the House and Senate from using these procedures to 'deem' President Obama to remain our dear leader indefinitely without a vote in 2012? Sound crazy? Well I thought passing a bill in congress without voting on it was crazy but here we are.

Is this it? Will we be explaining to our grand children what it was like in America when we used to be free? Are we so willing to give up our inalienable rights (God Given), our freedom of religion, our right to bear arms? That is where this is all leading unless We The People can stop this insanity.

In the spirit of balance let me say that I don't think the socialist affects of this bill will kick in until the economy has recovered and people have forgiven the Democrats for this debacle. So say another 20 years? By then we will have another 'savior' who will come in decrying how Republicans have destroyed our image around the world, inhumanely tortured our adversaries and given corporations evil tax cuts so they can hire more people, then we will have another dictator wanna-be like Obama in office. At that time, watch out because it will be the beginning of the end for America's final slide and collapse.

But it doesn't have to happen that way. Call your congressman, email capitol hill, go to a rally and vote every last one of those who supported this process out of office in November. We are American's, we thrive best under the persecution of oppressive government rule, we will prevail for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!

HIGH SCHOOL -- 1957 vs. 2009

Scenario 1:

Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack.

1957 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.

2009 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers.

Scenario 2:

Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.

1957 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins.. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies.

2009 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Johnny and Mark. They are both charged them with assault and both expelled even though Johnny started it.

Scenario 3:

Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students.

1957 - Jeffrey sent to the Principal's office and given a good paddling by the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.

2009 - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. He becomes a zombie. He is then tested for ADD. The school gets extra money from the state because Jeffrey has a disability.

Scenario 4:

Billy breaks a window in his neighbor's car and his Dad gives him a whipping with his belt..

1957 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college and becomes a successful businessman.

2009 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. The state psychologist is told by Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's mom has an affair with the psychologist.

Scenario 5:

Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.

1957 - Mark shares his aspirin with the Principal out on the smoking dock.

2009 - The police are called and Mark is expelled from school for drug violations His car is then searched for drugs and weapons.

Scenario 6:

Pedro fails high school English.

1957 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English and goes to college.

2009 - Pedro's cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against the state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English is then banned from core curriculum. Pedro is given
his diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns f or a living because he cannot speak English.

Scenario 7:

Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the Fourth of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle and blows up a red ant bed.

1957 - Ants die.

2009 - ATF, Homeland Security and the FBI are all called. Johnny is charged with domestic terrorism. The FBI investigates his parents -- and all siblings are removed from their home and all computers are confiscated.
Johnny's dad is placed on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Scenario 8:

Wally falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Nancy. Nancy hugs him to comfort him.

1957 - In a short time, Wally feels better and goes on playing.

2009 - Nancy is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison... Wally undergoes 5 years of therapy.

What would you say if I told you that I was going to put you on a diet and I promised you that after one year you would lose 35 lbs, have the heart rate of an Olympic athlete, and look ten years younger. Furthermore, what if I told you that you get what you pay for so you have to sell your house, cash in your 401K and liquidate all of your investments to pay me to achieve your goals?

Let's say you were desperate, and you gave me the money? So far so good.

Now one year goes buy and you confront me and tell me that you have gained 10 lbs, you can barely walk up a flight of stairs without almost passing out, and you feel 10 years older. You ask me for your money back and I say:

"What are you talking about, I did exactly what I said I would do. You are lucky you hired me when you did because if I hadn't helped you this year you would have gained 45 lbs. , been confined to a wheel chair and felt 20 years older."

If you don't think that logic is sound then how about President Obama implementing 787 billion of your kids future tax dollars into a scheme to payoff all his political friends, buy GM and give it to the unions, illegally taking it from the rightful share holders, and not creating a single job.

After one year, Unemployment is 3-4% higher than a year ago, our deficit has quadrupled, and the economy is in the worst shape it's been in since the Carter administration debacle. When confronted by 'We the people' after one year listen to his explanation and refer to the ridiculous scenario above:

America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, We shall overcome. Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the anthas gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Actretroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by theGovernment Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and once peaceful, neighborhood..

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without instruction?" So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do time studies.

Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?" So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One to do the studies and one to write the reports.

Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?" So They created the following positions, a time keeper, and a payroll officer, then hired two people.

Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?" So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost."

So they laid off the night watchman.

NOW slowly, let it sink in.

Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter.

If you are a liberal democrat today, you are probably devastated, angry and very confused. Your symptom is uniquely a liberal one I call "the Democratic Letdown".

I mean seriously, 12 months ago you were riding a wave of 'historic' value with the first African American President ever to be elected in the US. You could turn to 'Almost' any station and hear nothing but condescension *NBC, All Barack Commentary *ABC, Curic Barack's Sister *CBS and all the other cable nets except for FOX.

Congress had a majority vote in the house and senate *Senate had 60 seats. The president was putting those Bush republicans in their place and telling all the R-Congress folks to 'Shut Up'! Life was good.

Then came a poll showing only 28% of voters calling themselves republicans *forgetting to mention that 35% now called themselves conservatives. The media did a huge story cycle on how the Republican party was all but destroyed. A liberal had to be feeling pretty good back in February '09 when there was rumor that Barack might go after the Bush Administration lawyers on the 'torture' issue. Nothing could be finer.

Time Magazine, New York Times and Washington Post kept up their worship of the new president to the delight of the left *even if all three publications circulation numbers were plummeting. Sarah Palin was being openly mocked, Joy Behar got a show on CNN simply because she was a women that openly mocked Palin *If you don't believe me I dare you to watch and find one episode where she doesn't mention Sarah diminutively.

Fox News was the only network reporting stories about Van Jones past and subsequent resignation, ACORN video's exposing the total abuse of your tax dollars on the liberal agenda in our cities. But not to worry because the president put Fox in it's place declaring FOX NEWS was not a REAL news outlet like Communists and Neo-Nazi's *CNN.

So for the liberal democrat the loss in November for New Jersey and Virginia was a weird 'blip' on the cloud 9 radar but no worries because the president and the liberal press passed it off as a case of 'terrible candidates' and 'terribly run campaigns'. You took a deep breath and exhaled and felt better and moved on.

Health care passed the House, another health care bill passed the Senate. Things were going the way you wanted them to go with no limits in sight. For the first time in your life you were proud of your country *You're not alone just ask Michelle O.

Teddy Kennedy passed away and you were worried that in an election a republican might win because the governor of that state did not have the right to appoint a temporary replacement. Actually in 2004 the governor could choose a replacement but because the governor was a Republican, congress changed to rule so incase John Carey got elected president Mitt Romney could not appoint a Republican *Because we all know that is the only way a Republican gets a senate seat in Mass.

Small emergencies diverted, all is well and on track. You survived the Tea Parties and march on Washington on September 12th by erroneously claiming only 75,000 people showed up when news agencies in the UK were accurately estimating 1.5-2 million. Whew~! Thanks liberal media for helping to avert that disaster. You had a good Christmas and New Year and then..

WHAM!!! Scott Brown elected to Ted Kennedy's seat out of nowhere!? The Health care bill is all but dead!?! And you are experiencing "The Democratic Letdown". As I said it is unique to liberals since conservatives don't have a network willing to lie to us and not report truth just to make us feel better.

Town halls calling Americans Terrorist, staging fights, ignoring Tea Parties, Slanted News, Ignoring news, Insulting our Nation, keeping us from drilling, overspending and wasting our taxes, Perverting the Constitution to fit your agenda, Taking God out of America, Causing Racism to explode. Creating Communism, Creating Euro pianism, driving private business out, expanding a failed Federal Gov, The Water Act,The Commerce Act,Favoritism of Tax dollars, Discrimination, and most importantly, Treason.

Today, his office may have defended those remarks, but what they cannot defend is Sen. Reid's distortion of the facts. It was his party--not the GOP--who stood in the way of American freedom. Every vote against the Thirteenth Amendment to free the slaves was cast by a Democrat. Every vote against Lincoln 's Emancipation Proclamation was cast by a Democrat. In 1922, when Republicans tried to outlaw lynching, Senate Democrats filibustered the bill until it died and continued filibustering against it until it was approved in 1957. When the great Civil Rights Act of 1964 finally passed, Republicans in the Senate backed it 23-6, but Democrats in the majority approved by only 44-23. Without theRepublican Party, it wouldn't have become the law of the land.

Sen. Reid isn't making history--he's making it up! If his party shows this much disregard for the past, then Americans should be terribly worried about their future. When the Majority Leader is willing to rewrite history to score cheap political points, how can we trust him with something as vital as health care?

I don't know how you feel about this, but the mass media ignoring important NEWS stories?!?! I get a little nervous when the media (nicknamed 'Watchdog') is curled up at any one's feet, especially a sitting US President. This is what happens with the Network News (ABC, CBS and NBC).

Whenever there is a Republican in the White House the 'Nets' dig up ALL the dirt they can and report even unconfirmed stories (which later turn out to be grossly false), the never apologize for the misrepresentation painting Republicans in the worst possible light night after night..and they call that balanced.

On the Flip side, when Democrats rule those same Networks completely ignore any hint of a negative story and just pretend that only 'EXTREME' right wing news outlets are reporting that because they are biased. What utter BS!

Now if you only watched the NETS you would think Sarah Palin has dropped out of politics and has turned to prostitution. You wouldn't know a thing about the FAKE Global Warming data that has been destroyed and replaced with fabricated data that can now never be substantiated. You wouldn't know that ACORN is a very bad organization condoning sex trade and illegal prostitution funded by government loans. You wouldn't know that Van Jones was a self avowed communist and has a real problem with white people, and you might not even know that he had to resign from Obama's Czar Harem.

I have just recently come to terms with the fact that the NETS are completely biased with a Socialist Agenda and skew every news story to support their not-so-hidden agenda..I can deal with that. But this new development of silencing the truth is just plain scary. And with this afore mentioned behavior, some in congress have the nerve to declare that those same media outlets should get a 'bail out' from the federal government. I hope the American citizens have the common sense to see that we the people are the 'great equalizer'. It's good to have powers in our government balance themselves against other branches. It's good to switch political parties power to let the pendulum swing the other way. It's wonderful to have debate on such important issues as war, security, health care and our fragile economy. It's diabolical to silence the truth and stifle the debate. I don't blame those on the left who were elected, rightly so, to be who they are and who they were elected as. But it is really really wrong to pretend you are a balanced media and that you represent the majority of Americans (both assumptions on their parts couldn't be further from the truth)and then proceed to boast your bias apologetically as though it is majority opinion.

Only the left takes the minority opinion and lies to the populous to deceive them into believing that their opinions are actually the minority opinions, while pushing the minority agenda on the masses. It's good to push the envelope from time to time but there is a line and it has been crossed repeatedly over the last 12 months.

A Harley biker is riding by the zoo in Washington , DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.' The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.' The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page... So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?' The biker replies, 'I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.' The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page: U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

That pretty much sums up the media's approach to the news these days.

It's really kind of funny when you think about it. Those people who are inherently evil are the first to vehemently cast dispersions on the motives of others, and accuse them of what they themselves do.

It's so common it's even found in the Bible in Roman's 2:1 talking about human nature it says "So you have no reason, whoever you are, for judging: for in judging another you are judging yourself, for you do the same things."

Let me put this into perspective. When George W. Bush was the POTUS the left wing media went ape*$#@ on him, some pundents were unabated in their vehement hatred on these networks with the 'Balanced' so-called media shaking their heads saying "see what this president is doing to people". They set out (with help from the DNC) to destroy the POTUS's Approval Ratings, knowing that would lead to mid-term election losses and diminish his effectiveness. By the time George Bush left office his approval rating was one of the lowest ever. He was silent, didn't put up a fight or defend himself. George Bush certainly never accused CNN of not being a 'REAL' news outlet or boycotted NBC or CBS. Was he happy about the media? Probably not.

Now Mr. Obama and the Democrats are in about as great political power as one party will ever see in the United States. They now have EVERY major news outlet licking their feet and bowing in praise, except one. There is one network simply telling the truth and their audience is mostly conservative but they have a greater independent audience than any other network (it's called Balance). The news media's JOB is to be skeptical of Government! Always has been and hopefully it always will be.

And now Mr. Obama and the DNC are hitting FOX as though they are targeting Mr. Obama's approval numbers and are trying to do anything they can to destroy the President...hmmm

...No that would be the DNC and the Liberal (STATE) media against President Bush in a concerted effort to destroy him from 2004-2008. So in other words: President Obama is accusing FOX of TRYING TO DO what his party and complicit media ACTUALLY did.

Mr. Obama, it's time to pull your troops and accept a skeptical media outlet like FOX NEWS. I know that you have never had anyone publicly scrutinize your actions or policies before. You have only had praise from media and never before criticism. But the truth is that FOX news is the only media outlet that can legitimize you with the people and give you a fighting chance at a second term.

I asked if she meant fly to Pensacola, FL on a commuter plane.

11. Mary Landrieu (D) La. Senator called and had a question about the documents she needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded her that she needed a visa 'Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those.''

I double checked and sure enough, her stay required a visa. When I told her this she said, ''Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!''

12. A New Jersey Congressman (John Adler) called to make reservations, ''I want to go from Chicago to Rhino, New York.''

I was at a loss for words. Finally, I said, ''Are you sure that's the name of the town?''

'Yes, what flights do you have?'' replied the man.

After some searching, I came back with, ''I'm sorry, sir, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't find a rhino anywhere."

''The man retorted, ''Oh, don't be silly! Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!''

So I scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered, ''You don't mean Buffalo, do you?''

The reply? ''Whatever! I knew it was a big animal.''

Me: Well, ya but I'm 1/32 Cherokee, Danish, French and Irish, oh and some German and Swedish.

Liberal: But You're White

Me: Ok, I'm White

Liberal: You're a Racist

Me: No, I don't really pay attention to people's race. I respect all humans no matter their heritage

Liberal: But You're White, You don't want Mexicans to come into this country, You're a Racist

Me: No, I am not a Racist. I respect all Mexicans that want to immigrate to our country legally, that's what they expect of us. I told you I respect all humans.

Liberal: You're White. You don't consider Blacks to be human that's why your ancestors had slaves.

Me: No, my ancestors were from Europe. I believe in the US Constitution that says that "All Men Are Created Equal." I respects all humans.

Liberal: You're White, founders who wrote the constitution were White just like you. Some of the signers had slaves. Conservatives defend the constitution. Conservatives are White, Conservatives are Racist. You're a Conservative.

Me: Well, yeah I believe in the founding documents of our great nation, and if that makes me a conservative then yeah, I guess I am. But I am not a Racist

Liberal: You're White, You're Conservative, You're a Racist.

Me: Can't we just talk like two human beings about the issues that matter to all of us?

Liberal: You gave up your right to have a civil discussion the day you were born White. We are in control, You're White, You're Conservative, You're a Racist. Now sit down and be quiet. You have run this country for over 200 years, America is a racist country, it's our turn now.

Me: Isn't that a Racist Attitude to call me a Racist just because I am White?

Liberal: Ok see that's what I am talking about. You are like a 'pot calling the Kettle Black'. You are calling me a kettle, you are calling me black and that's Racist. You're White, You're Conservative, You're a Racist

Me: Whatever..Ok you win..I'm White, I'm a Conservative, I'm a Racist.. Go John McCain!

Me: Sheesh, I wish that I could be judged by the content of my Character and not the color of my skin. . .
