Global Uh.. Wait.. Yeah, Warming

The supposed "global cooling" consensus among scientists in the 1970s — frequently offered by global-warming skeptics as proof that climatologists can't make up their minds — is a myth, according to a survey of the scientific literature of the era.
The '70s was an unusually cold decade. Newsweek, Time, The New York Times and National Geographic published articles at the time speculating on the causes of the unusual cold and about the possibility of a new ice age.
But Thomas Peterson of the National Climatic Data Center surveyed dozens of peer-reviewed scientific articles from 1965 to 1979 and found that only seven supported global cooling, while 44 predicted warming. Peterson says 20 others were neutral in their assessments of climate trends.

In honor of Earth Day, I just wanted to post a few thoughts on Global Warming. The Article excerpt posted, is trying to tell us here today in 2009, that the Global Cooling phenomenon in the 1970's was never really agreed upon by the scientific community. (So, stop holding that against us now that we really want to push Global Warming). Nor was 'Global Cooling' ever promoted as Scientific Trend.

Look, I was in my late teens during this mythical period in history and you can't tell me the media wasn't pushing this scare story as prophetic gospel truth. Remember, gas lines odd and even? Remember the huge solar push of the 70's and 80's? I do. I was there. Busted. Game Over! Yet they are trying to sell it to us today that all references to that period in our history are a 'stretch' and 'made up' connection to today's (Totally Opposite) predictions. Wow, why don't you just tell us 'No Jews Were Slaughtered in WWII'.

This article only makes my point crystal clear that the media can take a minority voice, push it as a majority view, and castigate the majority of Americans who disagree. Take the Miss USA debacle earlier this week where Miss California stated her views that Marriage should be between a man and a woman only.

The Medi-azzi immediately reported that the judges were looking for a more 'populist' answer (populist=minority view that the -azzi's were looking for). When in fact, the populist view of California (not to mention the overwhelming majority of Americans) backed up by Prop8 in recent elections, prove that she indeed was representing the populist view of her state. What they wanted to hear was that "hey everybody should have the right to choose and do whatever they want blah blah blah.." Well, then they shouldn't have asked her a questions containing the phrases "Do you think..." You just don't do that to a Christian Conservative, they will give you the truth every time. If you want conservatives to play the charade you have to cloak your questions better (Like, "Is it true you still beat your wife").

Finally, When 'they' predicted that the ice in Antarctica was going to melt, no one predicted the Ice Growth that is now taking place in the eastern region. So they now cite the ice melt on the western region and predict the melting of the eastern region blah blah gases congealing blah blah.. Sorry I can't listen to them any more. It's almost to the point that these guys have to check with the National Weather Service first before making a prediction to keep themselves from looking like fanatics. And have you seen your favorite TV shows lately, all the actors are being forced to give these 'green' promos all stating matter-of-factly "Global Warming Is Happening."

It reminds me of German propaganda telling everyone that "Jew's are an inferior race." Global Warming is our Modern Day Hallocaust. In other words, most countries know it's wrong, don't agree with it, but are too afraid of the green gestapos to stand up and say anything. Oh but that can't happen in America! Ever heard of property being siezed under the eminent domain clause because it was declared a 'wetland'? Enviro-nazis in America are hard at work to label you 'environmentally unfriendly'.

Nazi Germany wanted to 'cleanse' the country of Jews. Everybody said it was a bad policy but no one would open up their boarders for their immigration (including America). Only the Dominican Republic took in refugees. So on Earth Day, let's remember it is just another liberal holiday created to celebrate the loss of your freedom!
